We have talked about watches, sunglasses and other stuff latley.... SO....

Flashlights are another of my addictions... always looking for the right one and ending up with way more than I'll ever need. My favorite lights are all Surefire with a e2e always close at hand. More G2's than I can remember, several weapon lights but my new M4-CB is my favorite in a long time.

What ya got? Pics? I'll try to post some of my own when I sober up and find the memerory card for the camera.

hands down surefire. x200b on my duty glock, c3 centurion in my sap pocket. our shotguns, m4's, and mp5's have surefire fore end lights.

e1e off duty. u2 ultra on my nightstand.

in other words, always a surefire within reach.

Surefire is the SH!T! G2s all over the place and a E20 Outdoorsman on my Anti-Terror Carry-On. I just got a Pelican M6 from a trade, but I think someone else will want it more than me.

Some of the cats in my neighborhood were out in the middle the street fighting a few minutes ago, so I took my faux M3 out and give them a blast of photons... :D

Rayovac for all of my tactical needs!

Yeah, Rayovacs are pretty nice. They will run forever*.

*If you have one of those magic mats that cunverts sunshine into electricity that recharges your batteries, and you don't use the betteries for more than 5 minutes per hour of sunshine-charge time, and you also have one of those hand crank thingies to charges the batteries (while you get a workout!) if the sun isn't out and, well, it's generally a good idea to have a Surefire on hand in case you have to find that hand crank generator in the dark.:D :D :D I recommend the Aviator if you can only have one, otherwise get one LED and one of the general purpose ones that doubles as a field exedient X-ray machine when you hold it up to someone:eek: . Then get a 1" cheapo scope ring, so you can mount it on your M-4 if everything goes to hell in a handbasket.

Oh, by the way, there's a company called Diamond (I think) that makes an LED bulb replacement for c and d cell MAG lights. It's something like 250+ lumens, and runs for several hours maybe. It's as bright or brighter than a Super Stinger, however many lumens that is.
They also make bulb replacements for the AA minimags, which are about 10 times as bright as the standard bulb. No match for a Surefire or HDS ecdbasic though. But you cant get one of those for $30.

Yeah or you could just go to wallyworld and buy the New Maglite already converted to LED for cheap!

i have and have had almost every surefire made, but really like the nightops gladius for general use. i keep one in my truck and one by the bed. they are great lights. my new edc is a hds basic 60 to replace my surefire 3p. (thanks Bravado!)

Raden,

Didn't you just unload a 12PM?
If you still have it how does it compare to your new M4?

Thanks,
piglet

Here's a while back.

Have added a Surefire L5, converted a couple Surefire 6 & 9 series to LED via KL5 heads, picked up a few original-style CMG Ultra's, found a couple ARC AAA's I forgot I had, got a TID for the INOVA X5 pictured. I think that's about it.

Will have a couple Fenix's en route soon.

Sonuva...! I was paying almost $30 a pop for mine two years ago or so, but these led's are way brighter than the original bulb. A couple of them are up around 10 lumens, which is pretty bright compared to the original bulb.
%@&!, now I have to run out to wallyword and check those out!

I've got only one flashlight at the moment. Surefire g2.

Yes, but you have an SFNO!:D The G2 is a great light, I have one by the bed, one in each BOB and both vehicles. I use the AA Maglites for work, but I think I'll get some more G2s to replace them. Peoples kitchens can be quite treacherous and ill lit.;)

Yeah, the Arc AAA and CMG (Ultra) flashlights are awesome EDC carry lights. I have a couple of them scattered around the house, and on various keychains.

The body on the CMG looks like you could run into over with a Mac truck, and it still wouldn't damage it.. LOL! :D

I like the SF, I have a 6P, L4, E1E, E1L and a U2 on the way.

Also, I do like the HDS EDS series I have a 42XRGT and the 60 GT.

I the Arc AA is pretty nice for a small light and my CR2 ION is a great thrower.

Finally the LED converted 2D mag light works well around the house.

Ah toys, I can not afford any more hobies
