So I was down to my glock g21 and my spuped up kimber. Well a knife came up I had to have so I sold my glock! I feel so naked and unprepared due to ammo capacity and the reliability of my glock was just great and the trigger was so perfect! I may go back tomorrow Nd swap my kimber out! What do yall think?

I call dibs on the 1911 grips if you get rid of the Kimber :p

If I only had 1 it would be my Glock 22. 9 years and 3000+ rounds with no significant issues. That track record loaded with 16 round of 180 grn jhp is a real comfort when things go bump in the night.

Do what you need to do to get that g21 back. Judging from your post you will not get over it.

Go get your Glock back. Personally, I'd take the Kimber over the Glock any day, but you had the Glock for a long time and jdigi101 is right, you'll never get over it if you don't go and get it back. Plus I thought you had a rat tail you were going to sell?

I do not worry about Glocks. I love my little Kimber though :)
On a side note today was a detail strip day for my SVI. High quality parts is what you see.

I have a simple rule, I no longer sale my shooters.

If its in the closet and not shot this year, its eligible for sale/trade. I shoot and practice with my keepers.

Knives come and go. I have a few that I will not sale, and some I will.

Lazy Otter, go get your Glock back buddy! I'd take a G-lock over a Kimber any day! Function over nostalgia and looks everyday of the week. Good luck!

I would have sold the Kimber, bought the knife, and used the left over to get another Glock like the 30, so you have a matching set.
That said, I'm with Rob, upgrade to the 20.

I guess I'll be one to agree, and disagree. I do think you should upgrade... But to an Ed Brown or a Nighthawk.

I still get nostalgic for the old skool lookmotorcycle-revolver-holster-leather-saddle.jpg

Not sure I could go "Glock-less" myself! My 21sf, 22rtf, 22, 23, 27 and 34 are just the start of my handgun collection... but always feel like they are the reliable ugly bricks that never cease to throw lead!

1911 are nice... but so much work. Get that black beauty back!

Well I'm going back later today to ditch the kimber and get my glock back!

Good choice. I'm also Glockless at the moment though.:( Sold my 19 27 and 30 to feed my knife habit. In fact only handgun I have at the moment is a Phoenix Arms HP22. I gotta say though for $115 pistol I'm amazing how well it functions . Have both the 3 in and 5" barrels for it. The sights are God awful though. I've went through lots of pistols and Glock I keep coming back too. Will get another someday. Probably soon. Though kinda thinking about trying a FNH FNS. Anybody have one?

I have had my G23 since 1990. Along with several 1911's. And many other brands. The Glock will be the last to go...Cheers.

Carrying Glocks 90% of the time since 2008. Have a G39 on my hip as I type this at the local library...;-)

Well I went up to get my glock back and they offered me next to nothing for my kimber! Now my kimber has had all the guts replaced and had some highend work done! So I kept the kimber I just couldn't lose that much money so I decided I'd just get a new one next month. It's sad to see the old girl go but she will be replaced soon enough!

Also since I lost the origional grips I woulda had to sell it with my Busse tigerhide grips on it and I didn't wanna do that!
