OT: How is everyone doing?

My family owns an auto body shop and we fortunate that we have not had to layoff anyone yet. Times are definately getting tough and it has been hard to see alot of our friends losing their jobs.

I am glad that I hang around this place all you guys help get me through the days. I hope all the best for everyone out there.
 
Man...I had a long tough week..but its friday,and I dont have to work tomorrow..I wish I was, I need the money, but the DAD in me, is glad that I dont....thanks for asking my friend. GEne
 
Up to my ass in debt and spending my first V-Day in years alone...but doin damn good. I'm alive and well and have food on the table...

I am doing fine. Just got back to being able to work, and am going to be able to do what I want for the first time in a while.

You know I'm reading through these posts about these guys going through chemo then you remind me.

My dad died of cancer 4 years ago on February 13th. Of course it was a Monday and not a Friday. :( Watching him go through that was indeed a very sad experience.

I wish you guys going through chemo the best of luck.

Congrats!!! I'm glad to hear you hung in there. Sounds like an awesome day. You should go celebrate.

I'm doing good now, but in a few hours I will be on the river fishing with some great friends which will make my day awesome. Gosh, I haven't been fishing in about six months. If I catch a trophy, I will gladly show it off here.

I'm considering kicking myself into top shape, joining the AF and trying out for SERE Instruction. My only regular job is only open half the year and my winter employment opportunities didn't come through--and with the economy the way it is and the hopes of starting a family in my future I'm not sure what kind of career move is best. You guys got me so turned on to the WS&S stuff that I'd be willing to go through the abuse of what SERE takes, though.

Good to hear about what's going on in the community!
 
Trying to lose weight and get fit after a winter of inactivity. I hate jogging:grumpy: But looking forward to a spring of hiking, camping and fishing:D
I hope all of you guys are doing well.
 
I feel selfish when I sometimes complain about this or that. After reading what some of you good folks are going through, I realize that my life is truly blessed right now. My wife and son are healthy, I am too (aside from a few extra unwanted pounds). My dad is still with us, and in okay shape despite needing a Kidney.

I am working, although the construction market is flat, so us electrical contractors are having a hard time staying in the game. I am keeping all my guys busy for now...

Went out with a few other couples last night for dinner and a comedy show. I haven't laughed so much in quite a while.

I'll be thinking about all of you that are not doing so great, hoping for good things to come your way. I'll do my best to pay back all the good will I have right now.

Terrible actually.:( But Im not about to complain with guys here going thru chemo. God bless each and every one of you I hope the future finds you healthy and happy once again!:o

To all W&SS guys , for those who are doin good Im happy for you to those not doin so great I hope your situation turns toward the better. Im sure were all feelin the economy troubles in one way or another.

Nice gesture, this post, gotta love this forum!:thumbup:
