OT: Need some input on my makers mark

I see a Dead Kennedys fan!! :D ;) I had never seen that logo before a friend of mine sent me this pic,
p.gif

and now for something almost completely different, almost... :o
p.jpeg

that is mine with the vertical stave cut short for use on my website, my actuall logo would have the longer stave and a more Rune like appearance.

I dont mind you having a similar logo to me but yours is a dead ringer (pun? :p ) for the Dead Kennedys.

Good luck on the logo search! I wish you success!

All those suggestions are certainly creative and unique.
Most everything I own is stamped with "Made in China".

Here's Dan's sketch after a trip through Corel Draw.

ooooh! nice! I like it!:D:D:D

I like it too....I may try to add a knife to it....in place of the tall stem...

John - I'm giving that some serious consideration....might have to make a combination of the two somehow....yikes!

Ok....came up with this one....watcha think?

I like it, Dan:) I like how you kinda roughed it up and spread it out. It still retains a lot of what your first idea had, but isn't so close that it looks like the Dead Kennedys thing. Gritty, but sharp...if that makes any sense;)

Dan?

The last effort you posted is by far the most unique and definitive of the bunch. One day you will not be around, and some logo will not identify who you were and what you did.

The logo and name in the format you chose is a remarkable creation. Nice.

I'm liking it even more....you know it's good when you can see lots of different stuff in it....when it has different interpretations....you guys really have some great imaginations....never thought about the black window or even (oops) the "K" making a convex edge....:o

There's still one more symbol in there that nobody's picked up on yet....;)

We were trying to keep the Masonic implications to a minimum. And pruning shears are SO unromantic.
