^^^ A local store got 100 sports in yesterday and line was longer than that before they opened! :grumpy:

Hehe, I was in that line. They had 100 S&W M&P Sporters with two boxes of ammo and one 30 round Pmag, for around $883. Several of us did rough counts, and I was right around the 100th person mark. Got there at 6:45 for the 9:00 AM opening. Unfortunately, I could NOT take the morning off from work and I had to give up my spot. Guys at the front of the line had camped in chairs and sleeping bags all night. I'm sure the 100 units went in a couple hours.

After the current hysteria tones down, and any attempt at another national AW ban fails to pass Congress, don't you imagine that prices will fall back down? This bubble should burst.

However, the prices you mention are not even close because of what is happening. A buddy of mine saw an MWS going for $5k and I doubt you will find an SR15 for anywhere near $2k. More like $4k if you want it now.

I shared about 50 mil-spec mags with some Buddies for $10 bucks each..I only have 100 or 2 left.
People made fun of me when I bought bags of them at the Gun Shows for several years in a row, my worth has tripled lately.
Same with those $200 cases of 7.62 with 147 gr Match Projectiles and the Beta C's

Love the LMT, the SR 25 ECC is about a pound lighter, it will get the ATN ThOR 640 5X and the LMT will go with the 5.5 -22 NightForce

I believe you are right. But when it comes to legislation I have been wrong before. Two months ago who would have thought you wouldn't be able to find an AR for under $1200? I cannot even find any of the powders available to reload .223 or .308 match ammo locally. Never not been able to order powder before.

Yeah, definitely post some pics. The knights SR25 is the rolls royce of AR's. Funny thing is that Knights and LMT are good friends and Knights gives LMT it's last gen technology (BCG). I have plenty of DPMS 308 mags, but missed the boat on the AR15 mags.

Run over to bill goodmans next time they are in town, they had a ton of reloading stuff still and at good prices. Did yu go to english? They had powder as of last friday?....not sure what yu use but i think they had several diffent ones. Primers went up in price as we woulda expected. Wilmington gun show is this weekend fyi.

Hah! Small world...I was off but had to manage the kids that morning. Did a drive-by at 8:45 and saw it was hopeless. I was in that store 1-2 weeks before Newtown asking the guys about the Sport Package deal..."We'll have them for months, always have 100-200 around"...how quickly things change! Bummer you had to leave!
