Looks like since this thread was started only about 10% of sellers are leaving the price up. I'll leave mine up from now on.

^^^ Leave the price up why hide it?Mark it sold, then lock the thread. You can also add sold to the title.
As a noob piglet as recently as a few months ago, I found listings where the prices were left up to be very helpful. Thankfully I pretty much knew off the bat that the prices on E-bay were suspect. Google did help me find other sources for original prices on some stuff in ganza threads, etc..., but that only helps to a point.
I also wish the Busse specs and pricing sticky was kept up to date.

It literally means next to nothing, as the only thing that matters is what the buyer is willing to pay for it and what the seller is willing to let it go for. Sellers should feel free to start as high as they feel could be possible, then slowly lower the price according to how fast they need to sell.

, buys a knife from a member one week, only to turn around and list it for sale a week or two later at some price well beyond what you might have paid, it'd be nice for some of these newcomers to know what you might have just paid for said item so they don't get taken. I know of one guy in particular who felt rather dirty when he discovered that had just happened to him. :grumpy: That's NOT community! :thumbdn:

Another one is that some of the crazy prices on rarer blades are starting to come back into reality. :thumbup:Yes, this is called a Free Market-this This is how this country runs-well said-if an individual does not know how much the knife is worth, or what he should ask, he should not be selling it!!
