OT/Sml .22 Pistol

If small is the criteria, then I would second the little P22. I've shot one with a can and it is a lot of fun.

Larger but still .22? I've got the PLR-22 just for fun... Standard Atchisson Black Dog mags.

(not mine)

A bit more expensive, I've friends with the GSG-5. A lot of fun too.

But you said small, I digress.

P22?

I'm thinking of getting the conversion kit for my Glock 21 that allows it to shoot .22 rounds. That way I can shoot the same gun but only pay for .22 ammo. Need to research it a bit more. A coworker just mentioned it to me recently.

I've got a Ciener .22LR conversion for my Glock 22. I bought it second hand with some mags, so I never had to deal directly with the notoriously grumpy JA Ciener himself.

Good product with a very occasional failure to extract but not often. Hey?! It's for plinking when the Ciener slide is on, yanno? ;)

Screw that .22 conversion. Go with the .50 GI conversion. Saw that advertised recently. I'd love to turn loose a mag of those before buying my own though.

If I'm going with a .22 mouse gun, which is never except as a second or third weapon, I carry a NAA .22LR in 1 1/8" barrel. Not quick to reload, but bomb proof. mine has been through the washing machine 6 or 7 times at least. just a quick shake, a short blast of WD-40 and fresh ammo, and its back in service.

I like my P32 as a small back up weapon. Got mine refinished in some great urban camo. Not a match gun, but goes bang when ever I asked it to.

And THAT is exactly why I sold mine! :D I kept, uh, misplacing it during that year of commuting 2-States to work. Very, very not cool with kids in the house - it just had to go.

Mouse gun support? Like your P32, I do a P3AT virtually all the time. LCP would work fine, too, but my P3AT usage predates their release.

Good luck, Lycosa. Feel free to ask if you've got questions.

Love the LCP, with me all the time!!

I have a p22 also, great little plinker and alot of fun to shoot(cause its cheap)!!

My vote is for the P22:thumbup:. Have only ever owned a Kel-tec and Walther in 22 but would sacrifice the larger size and accuracy of the Walther over the kel-tec. My determining factor was conceilabilty and in my op. the only positive for the kel-tec:thumbdn: was size. The P22's can be found at great prices.

What kel-tec .22 did you own??

I wish Kel-Tec or Ruger would produce a .22 pocket pistol.
Those two are my fav.---size wise.

The Kel-tec was a 380. my bad! I traded it for the 22. The kel-tec was great in size although I hated firing it-not a fan of kel-tec anymore! Think with that particular size the round is borderline too large for the frame-guess it might be fine for self-defense purposes only! Would rather have more well placed rounds on target in 22 than the larger 380 with kel-tec. The other was an older Berretta model 950BS 22short that was a gift and is no longer produced and probably isn't an option for you.:D
