Well...... I understand photos were taken at my First Wedding and look how that turned out :)

Just say NO to Cameras Kids! and naughty cell phone photos too! (You too! faceless post reader person)
 
Let's try some Hinderer content....confirmed without doubt today that my first DLC Investigator was indeed Aluminum as my newest (Direct from the Source) is certainly SS....weight is an instant giveaway.

I like the lighter one for lighter clothing...the heavier one gives the reassurance it's still in my pocket when wearing more or heavier clothing. Plus when you most always have a knife, light and pen on your person...sometimes a light-weight pen is a nice thing to have...keeps the pants from saggin.

I go with tactile hand feel. When writing (daily), I just like the aluminum/titanium - I also have the S.S. and similar weights, I carry those in my Go-Bags, The more substanatial weight makes them easier for me to identify quickly or in limited light conditions.
