Our "Front Porch" ....

I'd like to thank the faithful for being so and also congratulate those that scored in the fun / emotional roller coaster that was Cyber Monday.

Well, Honestly Today kinda wore my arse out so, Enjoy guys. Have fun and always remember "Home to ALL who want to come and enjoy - RHK's House". It IS what We ALL make of it. :)
and with that...... Goodnight.

You needed that drink before the knives made their way to RHK's website and things got cooking...

;)

Just like all the people vying for a knife, both those that were successful and those that came up short, everyone needs to just take a breath and remember it is never nearly as serious as most make it out to be. Stay level headed out there, don't get too high or too low.

Sounds like I've missed an interesting day around here. Hopefully everyone survived relatively unscathed and a few new Hinderers are in good hands.

Nice looking down at the bottom of the forum and seeing all the regulars in here. Like seeing newcomers to the heard. Just want em to come in smile and join in. Lotta "outsiders" in here today. Feels like that relaxing period after a big party is over when it's just the people you like left sitting around enjoying a drink. :-)

I agree totally with you, however newcomers to forum were congregated only in one thread, sort of like throwing a party and guests not interacting with others socially and fighting over the food. Well Rubi did an outstanding job yesterday for sure!

Comforting seeing regular participants at bottom of page, good morning J81.

Good morning buddy. Bright and early as usual. I love the morning. It's my only real me time during the day. Coffee and hinderers. I need to get one of those bad ass steel flame darkness skull coffee cups like the guys at the ranch.

I agree, best time of day other than O'Relax thirty. Rest of the day in and out, heading up to family farm today, few repairs and hopefully cut some stuff with my XM 24. Later.

I want to touch briefly on yesterday. Please just read it - not trying to start a discussion. Some things in Life are funny (HaHa) and some are just funny wierd.
I have always been interested in human behavior and the way people act when alone vs in a group is particularly interesting. Layer on to that ritualistic behavior and it gets to be the latter brand of funny.
Take for instance the way some peole behave when invited to a party. There are parties where you know everyone and ones that you are going as a guest but know no one. Your behavior probably differs.
Imagine now a small community that decides to have a chicken barbeque and they put up a sign that says,
Next Sunday - Chicken Barbeque Come one come all and bring your appetite". Word spreads and the day draws near. As usual, few do the work to benefit the many but the goal remains to have some fun, eat some chicken and just basically do the American thing.
Day arrives and many show up, most know each other and pleasantries are exchanges and the festivities begin.
It isn't long before some arrive from various other communities, afterall the sign did say "come one come all and eat"
Now, conventional behavior is such that those new or unfamiliar with the customs or ways of the host community would walk around and nod and smile and say thank you a lot. Eventually chats would start up and introductions and everything and everybody would start to come together.
What shouldn't happen is for the new arrivals to almost immediately start complaining and joking about how the effort or execution of the hard working organizers were woefully inadequate and not up to the expectation of the new arrivals who obviously would have done it different/better and more to their liking.
Manners, Politeness, and Respect should not be ignored at a community picnic nor should it be when it is delivered through a keyboard and internet connection.
I have always maintained (or tried) to maintain a very even keel atmosphere for enjoyment here on RHK BF. ALL are welcome to come and if they are willing to adhere to some very reasonable guidelines -stay as a "regular".
I continually ask Rob and Rick and Regulars if that is being accomplished. This is YOUR Forum, not mine.
It is what Rob and Rick want it to be and what you all make it to be.
So, Thank you for listening. Thank you for all your support of an amazing American Brand and most of all - Thank you for being who you are.
Folks I would love to have show up at my community picnic. :)

 I'll bring some beer :D

Much respect Rubi. I sincerely appreciate your hard work and patience in maintaining this community. :)

Thanks for all of your hard work and insight Rubi. You are one of the good guys. Your efforts and patience are appreciated. I do love when you lay the smack down on the bad guys though.

Rubi - I couldnt agree with you more brother! just like the boys above me have said, thank you for what you do here, you do it right and you do it well. thanks for keeping this place the perfect Hinderer forum. Just like alot of you guys, when I come on here, this is my down time, my time to relax and talk to my interweb buddies...thank you for keeping it real and drama free Rubi, I can imagine how it COULD be on here, and Im just so thankful for how it IS. :)

Thanks for all of your hard work and insight Rubi. You are one of the good guys. Your efforts and patience are appreciated.

More patience than I would be able to muster, for sure! That's why I studiously avoided posting in a particular thread yesterday…

I do love when you lay the smack down on the bad guys though.

Yep, I didn't post but did enjoy seeing the red tickets ;):o Wish it wasn't necessary though..

Thanks to ALL for the kind words and support - You trully are a great group to work for.
The RHK forum is many things to different people - I believe I have a finger on that pulse.
I see people for what they are even if the image only appears on a screen, the written word carries with it a lot of information.
I know what I'm dealing with more than I don't. ;) and more often than not I am getting even more of a glimpse because of what is coming at me from the backend at the same time (PM's, emails, Profile info).
We live in an ever changing world and many get really butt hurt when they don't get what they want...
how they/when they/in the form they/wrapped the way - They Want it. Oh well.
My job is clear (to me) and as long as Rick and Rob and you guys are happy - I'll keep rollin' as is.

To any contemplating regular visits: All are welcome! Be nice, have fun, look around - Enjoy! We ALL were new here at first and the ones that stayed did so for reasons unique to them but it must have been because they liked something.
Check out the stickies or PM and ask. It is what we make of it. :)
Rubi

Just a heads up guys. Looks like some of the Steel Flame stuff is back in stock. May have already been, but I just noticed it :)

There's far too much going on around here recently...most all my "free-time" has me checking in.
