  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Out of Africa...K'roo.

These three are really the sort to shake you out of a knife torpor and to like something different and original  Very impressed all round by the diffrence in patterns and materials, but his file-work is up to French standards and that's benchmark! Pity he's so far away and working in difficult circumstances.
Will, you have an uncanny manner that brings focus to the individual characteristics of a cutlers abilities.

The two Lanny clip blades are uniquely different in profile which appealed to me.

I truly do not know how he functions under such primitive conditions.

Here’s a 4” barehead sleaveboard Zulu that Willem made for me last spring. Gator snap. Custom fir tree shield. Dyed Kudu Bone. As a second job I maintain a Christmas tree farm and harvest starts in a month. It’s going to get tested. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of building a knife with him from halfway across the world!IMG_1224.jpegIMG_1223.jpegIMG_1222.jpeg

Eric,
I love the overall balance of your knife....blade to handle ratio.
The green is perfect for your evergreen sleeveboard.👌
Thanks for sharing.

Rufus1949 Rufus1949 thanks Bob, you've motivated me to try and get in touch with Willem, might be worth the risk. S.Africa has its difficulties but so does everywhere relatively speaking. You've certainly helped to raise his profile and I'm sure he's delighted with that

Good day Will,
He seems to answer his messages quicker than his online order form.
Patience is a necessity. I have been trying for 3 days to reach him.
If I can help please don't hesitate to ask.

This mind blowing knife showed up in the mailbox this weekend. A ridiculously nice a generous gift from Rufus1949 Rufus1949 . I don't know what I did to deserve such a nice gift ,but thank you. You wen't a little to far....again. Rogue package incoming when you least expect it.

A wonderful Lanny's clip with the thinnest edge I have ever seen on a knife outside of a utility knife. This thing is slicey and lovely. The covers and backspring are perfect and it matches my lambsfoot perfectly. Willem does such a great job. His attention to detail is second to none.
