Get Willam to make one in green with a tree frog shield…see if her tune changesThanks Jon
I showed my wife the photos, her comment was " you know I'm going to sell them for $5 apiece".
Wow...you remember that my wife loves frogs. A very good idea.Get Willam to make one in green with a tree frog shield…see if her tune changes![]()
That is wonderful, Bob.Willem is branching out to jigged kandles.View attachment 2375708
Thanks Paul. He has do two or three others with jigged bone. Willem is learning fast. That is wonderful, Bob.
He’s doing an order for me now but my second might have to be jigged.Willem is branching out to jigged handles.View attachment 2375708
I am surprised at how well his initial jigging efforts are progressing. He’s doing an order for me now but my second might have to be jigged.
Stunning. You are right about how he has grown in his jigging skill. The jigging on yours is closer together than his early ones and yours has uniformity but not a mechanical feel. I really like it. If he’s come this far, this fast, no doubt he will be doing some stellar work very soon.Willem is branching out to jigged handles.View attachment 2375708
Congrats...hope it is worth the wait. He texted me and said a problem with a machine that shorted out by a power surge is now fixed, which had caused delays.Willem just messaged me and my custom should be done next week!![]()

I’m thinking of ordering a Lambsfoot very similar to yours. Is that African Blackwood? Also do you know what that shield is called? Your collection is stunning, thanks!I corralled my kroo's for some stropping and oil.View attachment 2370494View attachment 2370495View attachment 2370492

Thanks for the information, much appreciated. I’ve been slowly going through this thread and the gallery on the K’roo website. Now I’m really tempted to get a Lanny’s Clip.Hello,
The lambfoot does have African Blackwood and Willem calls the shield a Mamba Fang.
The pull is around a 6 and very smooth.
I generally ask Willem not to put a swedge on many, but that's a personal choice.
Thanks for compliment.
Bob
I really do not have a preference. I believe he may have other steels available. Thanks for the information, much appreciated. I’ve been slowly going through this thread and the gallery on the K’roo website. Now I’m really tempted to get a Lanny’s Clip.
Do you happen to have a preference the between RWL34 or N690 steel?
He also does magnacut. That’s what I ordered in my latest. Thanks for the information, much appreciated. I’ve been slowly going through this thread and the gallery on the K’roo website. Now I’m really tempted to get a Lanny’s Clip.
