Hope to reconnect with Willem on my custom build, he has been quiet since 11/29 when he said he’d get back to me in a few days. Hoping all is OK there. Anyone heard from him lately?

I got an email from him on Tuesday. He’s having the usual power and internet issues. Responses might take a little longer.

I figured something was wrong, I can’t imagine having to deal with that to the extent he has to.

Got back to me...he's working but fighting same old problem.
He said the next couple of weeks may improve power wise according to those that control it.
Paul@ Jakeywax31 has his locked up with customs. It may be months before he sees it. Ordered around June, but Willem had to redo it because of using wrong steel.

I got an email this week too. My power goes off a couple of days and I think I’m roughing it. I ended up getting off his website the Lanny’s Clip his son Liam made. Liam looks to be as talented as his dad. It should arrive Monday. The micarta is so nice. Here’s a pic.

Thanks Bob. And this one took longer than usual getting through customs but only a couple of days. DHL has been amazingly fast. Guys I actually prefer to buy my knives already built. I know I’d end up with boobs or something totally crazy on a knife if I made all the choices. Bob I have admired your choices and restraint. OK now I’m thinking a boob shield would be pretty cool. Got a few shields already that make me wonder.

Not all mine are custom, but you have done real well in your selection. Hmmm, a boob shield is interesting.
