For me its a Hinderer XM-18 Gen 2 with spearpoint blade....sigh. If one ever came up I would buy it and figure out how to finance it later...

Supposedly our economy is still hurting, but go to Fort Henry Customs, Arizona Customs, or some of the other custom knife dealers, and look at their inventories. Sold, sold, sold. Someone is buying these expensive knives.

so how many poeple do you think are looking for one of those? i honestly never though gold class knives sold untill i learned how popular chris reeve knives were, i thought 'who other than me would buy a knife that expensive if they had the money, and who has the money'? so i find it odd everywhere was sold out but kind of cool to know theyre out there

Mine is the bodega. Its a bittersweet knife for me. On one hand it looks amazing and I hear it flips like a dream. But $900 is a lot for a production knife. I also feel at that price point I would expect something a little more than N690CO for the blade. Thats true custom pricing and even if I did have the money it would be hard for me to buy one even though I want it bad.

Yuna Knives for me.... the price... :(

oh, man I want a yuna as well. My issue is they seem to be very spotty on which with flip and which ones wont. I asked him to put me on a list if he ever starts doing bearing pivots.

Michael Raymond Estrella. Not only is the knife beautiful, it has my name on it, well initials at least:) (My name is also Michael Raymond).

Anything by Murray Carter, absolutely love his knives whether they are utility or Japanese chef designs. The price really isn't too out there, I can't justify that money for a FB though. I seldom carry them, and I'm not much of a chef...

A Shirogorov in s90v maybe.

Strider Sng..fit and finish (paraphrase) the company has too much baggage for my taste.

TOO MUCH BAGGAGE be damned. If that's your major concern, then how can you vote? Everybody has baggage.
I've had maybe 15 Striders total in four models. If you're worried, buy the new lockup instead of an older used one. Beautiful folders, made to work hard. The warranty is for the LIFE OF THE KNIFE.
The Customer Service beats anyone else. They took my old knife with broken blade-tip, reground it perfectly; drilled out Super-glued-in pivot system and installed a new pivot, cleaned it up, centered and sharpened the blade, sent it back to me. ZERO COST to me. It's like a brand-new knife.

No offense to M.Raymond.... a true masterpiece in anyone's book. I just like to harass Locutus.
