Outdoor survival blade under $60?

Baby oil is mineral oil with perfume added. Mineral oil is cheaper and "food grade."

The Ranger Assault Knife or "RAK" (to be said with suitable growl) is .19" thick 1095 with a pointed butt to stab Commies and Jihadists in the skull. I suppose it would not take too long to file the point off.

The sheath freaks commandos out because the knife rattles in the plastic liner, warning the Commie you plan on deanimating. $.10 worth of stick-on felt takes care of that if silent night maneuvers are in your program or you just can't stand the rattle. :o

It has a black coating which prevents light from reflecting, makes it harder to cut things, and prevents rust of all but the part most prone to rust damage (the edge). The coating can be sanded off.

Quality should be satisfactory. They have a warranty. It's a biggish company.

Sounds like you own one. Is there a knife close to the RAK that's better for the money?

Kabar Bull Dozier is beast for stabbing beasts. :-)
Also Kabar D2 Extreme is a great combat/bushcraft hybrid
Maybe even an ESEE 6 is a good single carry in the bush when tactical needs are needed!
