There is SOMETHING, anything?, west of Valentine NE. Geez, I didn't realize there was even a windmill before you eventually get to Wyoming. Great area for being outdoors.

That's one of my favorite areas to be. The sandhills are beautiful and far away from anything. I like the solitude. There's also the Pine Ridge region, which is very rugged and beautiful. Will be making a couple trips out that way this summer, Lord willing.

I felt I could contribute here...

This is the Sainte-Anne river, Quebec. The water is very clear and pure. You can see the flat rocks going in the water and at the end it drops straight to 25 feets and you can see all the way down, with many atlantic salmons floating in the middle of it. I was there fly fishing, but had no luck...I don't mind. Fishing is an excuse to be there...

This is the Saguenay river. It's a major fjord we have, flowing toward the St-Laurence river. The nature is very powerfull there, with not much place to build stuff because of the cliffs, so many chances are that it will stay like that long after we are gone...

I really like our nature...and we still have alot of it...even if it's shriking slowly to make toilet paper and newspapers...:-/
