Overall Best Mid Size Busse

AZTimT
I classify my blade sizes as follows:
S = under 5"
M = 5-7"
L = 7-9"
XL = over 9"

_________________________________________________________________
My size-chart looks pretty similar:

S - 3 - 5"
M - 5 - 7" (7.01", .03", .05", .75"...)
L - 8 - 10.5"
XL - 10.75 - 12.75"
XXL 12.75"+

MY Answer:

ZTSJ, BJ- or any Satin Jack (for the most part) - or -
HR or TB

Best mid sized Military/Survival knife might be the Team Gemini.

I'm waiting for a Custom Shop Team Gemini with satin or DCBB finish and no fuller. I would buy one of those in an instant. No interest whatsoever in the coated blades.

An anorexic satin version would be sweet. This one has a pretty thick grind.

I'd like to see that one:thumbup: I don't like the fuller either...

Alright, since most agree that 6" is "midsize" I vote Boss Jack.
I have a SJTAC- but to be honest it's more of a "fighter" than a user....sure is fun to play with though.

The TG would be cool but for two things. The proto BJ were way too thick edged and so is the TG. Also, someone has to say it, the double guard is ridiculous. Yes, you can work around it, but why would you want to?

Maybe you're floating in a large pepsi can with Navy markings on it, minus a tail rotor, and the usual exits are blocked by half the parts you'd need to build your own turbo jet. I wouldn't mind a double guard about then. ;)

Mid-Size BUSSE?!?!?!?

Ok, if I am doing the real life version of the helo dunker then maybe I would want a double guard. But those days are long behind me so I will still stick with no double guard. Remember, never let go of your reference point!

So guys (and gals) ... has this thread shed any light on the best mid-sized Busse??

At least no one has mentioned the Cultellus or NMFMB!! ;)
