Wilson, how the hell did you get the gap & vertical picket board in your fence to show thru your knife handle ??? ??? ???
LMAO . . . . . :D
Be safe.

I received these two beautiful specimen almost two weeks ago, but being so busy I haven't been able to take photos. Today I managed to hike out to the public park nearby, set everything up, and my camera died on me. So I had to use the cell phone, for which I have lost the sync cable, but rummaging through the pile of crap on my desk I found an old Bluetooth dongle... anyway, two hours later, and about a fortnight too late, here are the crappy images, I wish I could have done better

KFU and GH collaboration
it's a dream to hold, the blade looks small but is actually a good size. It has superb ergonomics, no in-hand photos but the thumb locks right onto the little depression on the spine - very nice to handle
the sheath is beyond words, it is a two tone leather piece which the knife actually clicks into, amazing, that's what it is

Bill Akers Backwoods
you cannot see the hamon line, or the exquisite details, but this thing is a jewel. I was telling Chris I would be afraid to use it, lest I should scratch it, but then I said what the hell, Bill would be insulted, so I batoned it lightly into a log, then went about the chopped off finger sized branches, went through them as if they weren't even there. Heck I could have taken down the tree, but it is a public park, and I didn't want to risk it. Came with Bill's own sheath

And lest I should forget to mention - these rigs were gifts from Chris & GriffinHawks and Bill, to me, a broke non-customer forumite they have never met, and they all came with first class fit and finish. Words can't describe how thankful and happy I am.

Ditto what Bill and GH said Sveqs. You are one of us bro

You're welcome. I personally never use a tripod, even when using my light box. Too cumbersome for me. I just take tons of shots, and pick out the good ones. I've really learned how to control my steadiness. I even hold my breath sometimes.
