Pancake Bowie

Matt's shop reminds me a bit of Burt Foster's--minimal equipment producing top results. It is a reminder to me to quit thinking about new equipment (I can be a bit of a tool collector) and start making knives.

Matt... I hope that I didn't get something bad started regarding the handle. I absolutely love the knives you've been posting here. I was just curious about the handle shape.

I guess that's the beauty of having a custom knife made... you hopefully get what YOU want and not what everyone else would want.

My preference would be for a nice piece of stag or hardwood for the handle... but that's just me.
