His was BHQ. They don't do pre-orders so yours was somewhere else (KC?).
KC and others who take pre-orders are working through long lists. BHQ was filling orders made as they were made, until they were out of stock.
Nothing to see here :)
I feel your frustration, though.

That is precisely why I did not do a preorder with KC. I don't want to potentially be way down on some list waiting for who knows how many shipments to come in before my preorder is fulfilled. IIRC, even with sprint runs, KC does not end the preorder when they get more preorders than expected knives. As a result, you may be in on a preorder--you may even be in early on it--but that is no guarantee that you will get a knife soon if it's a regular run or at all if it's a sprint run. That's great for KC's pockets, but not so much for those of us waiting on knives wondering when/if we'll be lucky enough to get one.

I received an email that my order was in process at BHQ yesterday about 10:35am and another email stating that it had shipped by 1:00pm. :thumbsup:

gunfixrjoe gunfixrjoe , why not try to score one from somewhere when they become available and then cancel your KC preorder if they are still behind on getting a knife to you?
 
My card was charged today by Knife Center and my account shows a tracking number. I pre-ordered 6 months ago like a day or two after it went on pre-order.

ok so 4 months between you early guys and me....I wonder how many 100's that is to go out the door before mine. Theres only 300 odd million people in the USA right?

After the USPS walked mine from Utah to Arizona over the course of 6 days, I was able to retrieve it from my PO Box late last night. Not one to dawdle, I wasted no time making an improvement, at least IMO, to the configuration. ;)

The scales are off my PM2 in 52100. And as for THAT particular knife, I thought she would look nice dressed up in some scales c/o BOOMER52. :cool::thumbsup:
