Para 3 in December CONFIRMED!

I'd put my money on this being a definite teaser for the Paramilitary 3! This is big news, love it!
 
So if it's a compression lock then how is it different? Not sure I understand the reason for a new model.
 
Ahhh, the P3 cant wait. Seems about right with all the different versions of the pm2 i guess they were getting rid of old
Stock....still good stuff. Bring on the P3

I'm disappointed to read it's a shortened version and not a scaled down version. One that's 15-20% smaller (scaled down) would be just the ticket for a lot of folks.

I was disappointed at first too but then I realized that the Sage 5 is very close to the same thickness, etc to the PM2. I like the handle and blade length of the Sage 5 and I'm guessing that the new "PM3" will be very similar in size. I'm just hoping the action is as refined as the PM2.

I think Boomer's Lil' Para/Delica is about as close as we're going to get to an actual scaled down PM2 (at least for now). No Compression Lock but it does feel great in hand.
 
This would be my first compression lock knife and I have been holding off on a PM2 because of the PM3. I have a Native 5 and was considering a Sage 5 to get the compression lock as well but felt other than the lock they were too similar.

Not sure when they will make it over the Canadian border, but at least now it seems like there is a light at the end of the tunnel, or the gorge, or the gap in the rocks.

If you look at the pivot and the handle screw they look larger than what is on the present PM2. I would also say that it is a smaller version of the PM2.
 
I would love to see one without the blade ramp of the PM2... more like the blade shape of the Native. Either way I'm excited to see what's hiding in this pic!

I'm not feeling that chubby blade look hope it's more like the PM2 syle .Kinda looks like the Byrd series blade crow or robin with round hole and PM 2 handle. Basically I'd like the Delica blade in a PM2 handle maybe a 1inch shorter thou. Time will tell I guess.
