Thanks man, appreciate it.Glad you are ok, Dubz. Hopefully you won't be too sore in the next couple days.
Damn it was a good looking stepside!!!!!
Sorry to hear of your loss tanglediverDeserving of a proper Purple Heart she be. A good trucks last full measure of devotion is to protect the crew. A coworker of mine and his young son was in his old 70's Ford 3/4 ton pickup that got accordioned by a semi. The cab was the only air space left.
Bridge ice is lethal, glad you made it through.
We had a funeral for an older cousin of mine today. He was 62, probable heart attack. It's been a different week.
The air bags didn't deploy. I hit it fairly hard, on the side, but I thought the airbags were still supposed to deploy with a side hit? Not sure. I'm a bit stiff, and headachy, but I'm gonna attempt to go to work.Deserving of a proper Purple Heart she be. A good trucks last full measure of devotion is to protect the crew. So sorry about your cousin. 62 is too young.
I agree. When I totaled my Ford Focus I went nearly head-on into the broadside of a lifted truck's giant-ass back tire (he pulled a u-turn in front of me from the right lane when I was in the left going about 40), I turned the wheel just enough that I hit at an angle and took out the right front corner of the car; the airbags never went off for that and I think it was a good thing. I think during some crashes airbags would do more harm than good so if the force is not perpendicular to the vehicle it would make sense to keep the airbags from going off.
I'd be cautious pushing yourself too hard after a crash, the last thing you want is to have an injury surface when you're away from home and unable to make it back.
Fill that clawfoot tub up with scalding hot water And some Epsom. Don't forget Ole number 7 over ice.I agree.
I worked today. The more I worked, the more it seemed to ease the stiffness. We'll see what the morning brings, however.
Good question , you will be the first to try out the orange color that I know ofIf I use Orange rit dye on new micarta scales. Will they turn out orange? I can't justify paying $60 for G10s when I have an extra set of micarta already.
Got another local guy coming to look it it tomorrow evening.Listed my Jeep yesterday afternoon, and have had 4 inquiries about it already. Got a guy from St. Louis coming up to see it Sunday. Says he'll pay cash. Cha ching.
Why not , you can always cover it with BlackGuinea Pig Aye!!!
