Paramilitary 2 Lightweight SHOT Show 2026

I want to thank you for your updates for stock.

I’ve tried at least 3x last week and was on the dealers I picked beforehand at the specified time of drop and refreshed exactly at the time they should have dropped. Got them in cart and was plugging in info and when I went to pay, OOS (took me less than 2 mins from start to finish). I didn’t dally, I didn’t dilly. If I had, I’d be mad at myself for my own indecision.

That’s where the frustration comes from. We shall see if more drop in the next few days.

In no way am I mad at yall.
I understand your frustration! I went through the same situation as you describe, countless times on the original Micarta Shaman Sprint run. Afterwards I didn’t get mad ... just more informed and prepared.

For future drops ( this applies to any limited release on goods) I made accounts at most dealers, made sure my phone/computer had good connection, preloaded my CC info into browser (can delete when not needed), And signed up to alert threads like this one on BFs.

After doing these small but important steps, my checkout time went from 2-3 minutes, to under 30 seconds! That’s assuming the retailers server wasn’t bogged down under the load. Here’s a quote from TazKristy (admin on Spyderco forums) about how to buy a popular Mule on a hyped release!

Tips & Tricks to Improve Your Mule Team Shopping Experience!
“If you have an account on Spyderco.com - log in to it ahead of time and ensure that your billing, shipping addresses, and contact information are correct and current.

If you do not have an account on Spyderco.com, you can check out as a guest. If you’d like to have an account, register before the drop and save yourself the time of entering your information.

If your Spyderco.com billing address does not match the billing address associated with your card, your purchase may be declined – that is something outside of our control. Even a simple typo of one character can cause a declined transaction.
On the release day, log in to your account a few minutes earlier than the release time (09:00 am MT).

Have your payment information ready to enter. We do not store credit card information on our site, but if you are comfortable storing it in your browser, I highly recommend doing so ahead of time.

Consider calling your card company (the day before the release) and let them know you will be making a purchase on Spyderco.com. This can prevent any confusion about potential fraud during the transaction.

If there are other items you want to purchase at the same time, add those to your cart before the release. This will allow you to go straight to checkout once you have added the Mule to your cart.

And finally, if possible, ensure you are connected with a stable internet connection with the fastest connection speed possible. We know this is not possible for everyone, but the truth is, the faster and more stable your connection, the easier it is to shop during popular releases.

We have done everything that we can do on our end to improve stability and speed, but there are a lot of variables outside of our control. My hope is that these tips will help improve your experience.

Thanks much!”

Even after doing these steps , I’ve still missed getting in on some knives. Like others have said above …not a big deal as there’s always the next. I’ve also gotten knives that were sold out later by trading here in the exchange!
Hope this helps in some way.

There should be more coming (hopefully) in the next couple of weeks. If you still haven’t scored after.. I MAY be able to hook you up! 😀

FOMO drives sales which is why it’s exploited in this manner. The makers and flippers understand this.

FOMO is a MOFO. (Pardon my acronym...)

It's hard to resist the siren's call. I'm usually pretty good...and then it all comes crashing down for a frenzied week or three. Then back to standing firm for months or even a year or two.

I’d be in your debt.

I left mine out after cutting up some fruit for my son and sort of forgot about it.

After wiping down and oiling.

I think it looks kind of cool. Don’t feel the immediate urge to flitz it or anything.
I like it. I’d make sure the acid was neutralized and leave it be. That’s a cool look.

Love the look of a used knife.

And I thankfully managed to snag one from rural Wisconsin with a marginally stable Internet connection that provided a maximum 10 Mbps download speed. That is NOT a typo either. I frankly didn't think that slow of a speed still existed here in the USA until I encountered it myself. Point is that if I can score with that setup, I think most folks should be able to do it with a little luck, persistance, and good timing.

I blame you for this. I was holding out strong and breathing a sigh of relief each time they were sold out.

It'll be worth it 😂
