Paramilitary 2 news?

It's a great knife but I let mine go in order to get another Para 1 in digicamo. These are going to eventually dry up and the P2s are just getting started.. I don't care much for black scales anymore and will wait on the P2 in alternate scales.
 
it's a little disappointing that they wont be here in time for christmas:(. but none the less, i'm super pumped about this knife! crossing my fingers for early January and not early February.
 
They just can't seem to be found right now. I was going to get one for my grandson for Christmas..I've looked and looked with no luck. I finally gave up and decided to give cash, and let him pick out his own gift.

I've noticed more and more with the new Spyderco releases if you're not "Johnny on the Spot" then a casual purchase isn't really a possibility. Perhaps Spyderco is adjusting their production to mirror the down-turn in the economy ?

I'd say to watch the exchange like a hawk. I just went through there this morning and saw two S30V and two or three S90V Paramilitary 2"s that were for sale and/or sold.

I can tell you guys that mine isn't going anywhere except my pocket :D
 
Watch the exchange for sure. I just sold mine to another member for a very reasonable price. I watched one go for $182.50 on eBay last night. That is just plain desperate! When everyone starts getting theirs for $106 again that guy is going to feel some remorse...
 
Well I got my paramilitary 1 yesterday. First impressions was how light and sharp
it was. Im used to my emersons being a little more hefty so holding the para
is like holding a feather. Im kind of interested in a military now for more
of an intimidating defense folder.
Also want to give Sooner State Knives a big thumbs up on their service. The guys
their a great and they get you your knives the fastest than any other place out
their. I ordered on Friday afternoon and got my knife on Monday. Cant beat that.

Those get annoying, don't they? I have 2 different versions on pre-order with KC so I get an email from them pretty much every other day, and my heart sinks a little every time I see the word "back-order" pop up.
 
I have the original Para Military and the new Para Military 2 in S30V and although I always liked the original Para I truly love the new P2 model. Its probably the single best folder Sal has ever offered for all around use covering all bases for what you need a folder for. I think its perhaps the best thought out model in their line up currently. My Military in M4 sure comes close but the beefier hardware and balance of the P2 is just hard to beat. I also prefer the sizing of the P2 better personally.

I put in an order from KC for the Para 2 CF in Oct and thought I had missed. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow. I also ordered the P2 in S30V 2 weeks ago and it also arrives tomorrow. Now to decide which one to keep and which one to sell...:confused:
 
Well, if you decide to sell the CF at a decent price, I would most likely be interested. I put one on preorder as soon as I found out about them, unfortunately that was not until mid-November, but I am pretty sure I did miss out.
