Paramilitary 2 news?

Yes, it would be hard to find two knives that were so different in almost everything other than the name on the box and a few linear measurements, esecially if you're comparing the first run GBs with solid liners. Both are Spyderco, and both are great, but it more or less ends there...

Similar in size but worlds apart in feel. The Para 2 is significantly lighter than the GB. I have found that I tend to carry my lighter knives more frequently, and those over 5 ozs., even the very nice ones like the GB, tend to get left behind.

....tired of waiting....canceled my backorder. Perhaps I'll give it another shot in six months when production can meet demand.

When did you order that one? Hope it wasn't recently and then you end up with one of the first models. Maybe they had a return or Spyderco was sitting on some from the original batch until the CF sold out. I placed a preorder recently but my expectations will be the new upgraded model (lock, etc). I had the original and was not happy with it once I had the CF and was able to compare the two models.

August 13.

Just talked to Blade HQ. They are still in stock, they don't ship to NY though. So I called New Graham and bought their last one. :)

Do you think the next batch out will be the 20cp?

I expect some of the S30Vs to hit next, with the Carpenter versions later this year. I received one with S90V on Friday, which arrived at a dealer earlier in the week with some S30V versions.
