What are the chances of ever seein a Orange G10 para or Mili?

I would be all over that, I think lots of people would!!

I want one in Orange SO bad, Cmon PLEASE!?!?:o

We plan to upgrade both designs. I imagine an orange scale would be possible if there was enough interest.

Thanks Sal,

What type of lock will you be using on the upgrades? Oh, by the way....I'll take one in blaze orange also

Chris D. :D

Sounds great what changes might come about?
I hear a stop lock is possible for the mili? What else may change? Or is it to early to say?
regards,Rick.

I think orange G-10 is a pretty good handle color. Now if you guys could whip one up with a low ride wire clip I would be all over it.

Yeah, a low ride wire clip (tip-up carry of course), or 4 way clip of any kind, would be stellar. And keep the compression lock (unless you're dead set on the ball lock, that would be OK in my book).

If society keeps becoming more sheeple, I may have to invest in a orange para.

Uh, lol, I don't think an orange one will help lol. Bright and flashy is not the way to go with sheeple peeps. Yes may look less tactical or dangerous, how know body knows. Regardless, I think more slip joint knives like the UKPK, Urban Leaf, Urban Wharncliffe and similar knives are the way to go on sheeples. That is, for knives you'd carry and use in a more public view.

The paramilitary is what got me hooked on spyderco. Still unsure of what spydie to get next. Love the new stuff btw, the Leaf Storm is really cool and I may buy the Urban Wharncliffe even though I really dislike slipjoints. The rock lobster is a weird knife, really weird lol, but I have a strange interest in it. Here goes my money...

I would love to see different handle scales offered and might buy the orange g-10.
But my dream Paramilitary would have carbon fiber handles and either a lowrider pocket clip(it shows to much curently) or a fourway pocket clip with clip placement similar to the minimanix (I love where the tip down holes for that clip are). I would not mind trying a caged ball lock either, in fact it would probably make me buy it faster.
I just saw the digicam para on your website. Too bad I already have a para or id be all over it.

I agree with dtownknifekid. Low ride on a carbon fiber para would be amazing! Yeah, would pretty much have to buy one lol.

Our plan is to re-design both the Military and the Paramilitary. One of the first requirements would be to convert to a 4 way clip. This is more complicated than it might appear.

We'd also like to make a Military with a "stop-lock" version, as well as the current Walker Linerlock. The Paramilitary would retain the Compression lock, which has proven to be strong and reliable, albeit a PITA to manufacture.

Once the new design is in production, we can add or alter scale materials and colors.

At least that's the plan, but Eric and I have been very busy with many projects already in-the-works, as well as the "day job" of running a business.

Is there enough interst in an Orange Military and Paramilitary in their current config without the 4 way clip? We could probably pull off a run of each.

sal

Id buy 2 paras, and a Mili, in there current config.!!!!!!!

Thanks for the quick response Sal...Thats why I love spyderco so much right there!

I think there would be alot of interest. I know alot of the outdoor guys would be all over it. Easy to see when dropped. And Orange is so cool:cool:
