First time buyer and excited! But will this be a scramble/grab on FCFS basis (especially for the satin finish)?

Likely, but since the time frame is a bit out from order/door step, most folks don't really sweat being the first in the door. That being said, earlier is better than later, and later is better than never.
 
Any ideas as to how this blade would compete to the Mini Mean Street from early august as an EDC knife?

I think for me at least it would be a much more useful blade since it can handle a wider range of tasks. The mini mean street is a slicer and box cutter which my zt folder can do with ease. The park ranger can do the same as well as skinning and light wood processing and so much more.

My thoughts are to have both and decide which is best fit for your own hand and usage. I try not to guess on the premise I could miss out on a keeper and evaluate and move along those that don't fit my needs to someone who may have missed initial offerings....Caveat: I don't flip Busse's I'm a Hoarder...;)

I keep telling myself that I will sell some but coming to terms with my own hoarding nature in regards to Bussekin. Trying to show restraint on buying blades I won't use though and I have found that I almost never use a knife under 5" other than my swamp warden. Unless it is piggybacked onto a bigger one which is why I like the idea of my coming fbm with the park ranger
 
As much as I love most of these offerings, I rather just buy what I am going to use. I am having internal conflicts with keeping some of my grab bag items. lol.

Anyhow, I had an order on the mini mean street because everyone said how great of an EDC knife it would be, but Jerry is kind of touting this as a great EDC knife, so now I'm torn. They are roughly the same price, and the 1/2 off sheath isn't that big of a deal to me, since I generally make my own kydex anyhow.

I also own an double cut INFI Boss street prototype, but that isn't very slicey, so I was looking for something a little thinner as an EDC blade.

Where did you read about a sheath?

I read the piggyback as being "if you buy an INFI version, add a BG version for $30 less than regular cost".

I am curious about the sheath you mentioned and where that was read.
 
Anyone have some user DCs they can post so I can see how they look over time? Can't decide between this and satin...agonizingly difficult decisions...:D

DC is great to look at but if you use it it smooths out pretty quick. You can’t get it back like you can satin. Let me see if I have an old DMDC pick.
