"Park Ranger". . . Pics, Specs, and Pricing!. . . Coming Sept. 20, 2017

I dont have DC user experience with INFI, but in my early days I had few sand blasted 1095 blades. I liked it, after they get all scuffed up and used, hit it with media blaster for a min, and its back to looking new again lol

I keep telling myself that I will sell some but coming to terms with my own hoarding nature in regards to Bussekin. Trying to show restraint on buying blades I won't use though and I have found that I almost never use a knife under 5" other than my swamp warden. Unless it is piggybacked onto a bigger one which is why I like the idea of my coming fbm with the park ranger

Damn you now I want to piggy back my fbm..... also the only reason you should sell busse or kin is to buy more busse or kin... car broke down, hospital bills etcetc. NO. just sell to buy more knives

Anyone have some user DCs they can post so I can see how they look over time? Can't decide between this and satin...agonizingly difficult decisions...:D

Don't have any pics but my CGBJ is a DC finish. Wished I'd gone coated (or the original competition finish) at the time...much better for a user that you care about the look of at the same time IMHO. Reason being the DC finish does seem to change/show use (not necessarily wear) pretty easily. I'd much rather have the bare/unpolished surface of the INFI. That looks badass and is what I have on my TGLB. Favorite finish hands down!

I get it....but something about the feel of a new Busse...is it the weight that give you the satisfaction of knowing "Oh yeah this is the one and the last one I will EVER want". I can see how you are already "Justifying" a new PR to go with the FBM....SURE you're fine
you show NO signs or Busse HOARDING....Pssssshhh RIGHT...
Truth is as long as you keep telling yourself you will sell some It's All Good....you're not affected...yeeeeaaaahhhh good luck with that.:cool:

I have managed to have two Busse knives under my roof and I sold them both (AMS and a Mini Muk).
Neither of them fit my hand as I had hoped, so they went to greener pastures... I think they weren't hard to part with due to not using them...

Hopefully the PR will fit my hand, and I will get a chance to see what the fanaticism is really about...

It's getting close to decision time.... I've been planning like offensive coordinators for this weeks opponent. Preparing how to execute for any eventualities that arise.
Here's a trivia- How many combinations are possible? ..... Figure that out and ponder for a moment HAHA!

I'm thinking cg green coating w green micarta or satin w Tan micarta or D.C. W blk micarta. Maybe all three?

So do you guys recommend the satin or stripped combat grade over the double cut. I like how the stripped ones look rugged and the satin look nice and clean. I've had the comp and big finish and liked those
As well. What finish are you guys going with?
