Zemersons are far superior to Lemersons in almost every way. The two issues with Zemersons are that they're relatively heavy and now there's only one production model left.
Once again I agree

Personally, I'm also much more into peaty Scotches like Lagavulin 16, Laphroig 10 and Lagavulin Distiller's Edition. However, Macallan 18 and Highland Park 18 are two other absolute favorites. Variety is the spice.
Evil Greg could be construed as the super-villain to the iconic super-hero Ernest Emerson.![]()
Someone 'splain me. I get what a Kemerson and Zemerson are, what's a Lemerson?

A lemon is a defective product. An Emerson is a knife that often features lock stick, lock bar over-engagement, lock rock, or lock failure.
Lemon + Emerson = Lemerson
I did not coin the term and can take no credit, just trying to be helpful.
Wow, rough! LOL
I guess I should be grateful that all of mine are fantastic.
That said, my estimation of the man himself has definitely gone down a notch with this icon business. Humility is a spectacular trait.
Whip, I agree with your message, but the fact remains that setting yourself on a pedestal is pretty low class. Plenty of people DO respect Emerson for his accomplishments, there wasn't really any need for the self-aggrandizement.
Which ones would you recommend? I'm asking... um.... for a friend![]()
I'll just never understand or comprehend the idea that a super strong ultra marine navy seal commando knife = thin fast wearing liner lock...seriously people. Liner locks and frame locks are great for EDC and normal use, but for a hard using army knife in combat? to trust your fingers to the guy who put the tang and lock bar geometry on the knife that afternoon at the factory? what a joke.
Relax, the SEAL that auctioned his 7 did say it was a back up knife, iirc.
Which is why I asked Ernie in the first place what a diver would be doing with a folder scraping the hull of a ship to attach limpet mines. I am not sure how true this could possibly be. Maybe it was a fixed blade.
