I`m going to do a passaround with this one. If you are interested you will be required to post a review here, and if you belong to any forums you can also post it there. You can keep the knife for 7 days, then pass it on to the next person. You must insure the knife for $150 when shipping.

The JK WoodKarver

6 5/8" overall
2 3/4" blade
2 5/8" cutting edge (zero ground with a 3M Scotchbrite polished edge)
3/32" O1 steel

This will be a fun one to see! Can't wait to see the reviews! I am no wood carver, but I think it will be fun to see what people think about this knife.

Oh, as a head's up, i am gone all next week. i.e. i am out of town from 4/17-25. you can change the order if you like, but up to you. though, if i do get it the following week (week of 4/26), i plan to go down to the Beckerhead gathering that weekend (May 01), so i could show it off there and hopefully get some orders for ya John.

We can arrange that. You might run into Cooper there, I think he was talking about going.

I already have Todds address, but if you guys want me to ship it elsewhere or a specific day, let me know and i will send it when and where it needs to go! Really looking forward to trying it out, thanks John!

You should have it late this week, so I would say to keep it and send it to Todd late next week, so he is back from his trip.

Glad to see this pass-around has kicked off. One thing, I didn't notice a requirement that participants be expert (or even competent) woodcarvers. In spite of my lack of skill, talent, or experience, I am looking forward to participating and seeing the other reviews

No one needs to be an expert carver, (I know I'm not ), to participate in this pass around. To be truthfull I'm disappointed that only three are interested in giving it a try.

Add me to the list please!
I'll carve up a dickens with it.
(Dickens = a pile of shavings ;))

Added, always wanted to see a carved dickens .
I'll do my best John.
I've never seen one either, but I'm pretty sure it looks like this...;)

Just came in the mail today!! Great looking little knife!
Get to carving man.
Oh, and don't forget the pics please.:)

O boy, pics! Thats some pressure for a rookie like me lol... I will def post some with my other JKs and out in my backyard with some pretty flowers, but action shots?? I will do my best, but do not be dissapointed if they look like a squirrel got hungry and tried to eat some wood lol! My buddy is a furniture maker and does hand carving... Maybe I will have him do something and pose it as my own. Just kidding!
