  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

It's a shame that blade on the OT has been heated like that.

Normally yes, and normally I wouldn't have an 8ot in that condition considering all my others are in nicer shape but it was my grandfather's knife. My dad said he remembered heating the blade and using it for some purpose when he was younger. I think it adds to the character.

Then I guess you know why he bought a knife with 3 blades, he needed 2 for cutting stuff and one for whatever tasks he wouldn't normally use a knife for.
I'd say this knife is pretty special.

It is. Maybe dad snuck it away and heated the blade without grandpas permission, who knows? Either way I'm glad that not only do I have grandpas knife, but that it is also the same as I choose for my preferred knife.

It's good knowing you're grandfather preferred the same pattern as you.
