Looks a treat Jeff and the aluminium pommel has held up well. When they start to 'patina' it can look less than pleasant :eek: metal polish will fix it but can be hard work;)

Well to give a bit of background to why the 44 has acquired such patina in a short period, my two front upper teeth aren't real. Yep,I have to glue the suckers in every morning. So to that end some foods prove a challenge to eat without loosening them. So I regularly cut my food into more manageable peices. Well the 44 has taken pretty much a permanent spot on my belt. So its become my defacto meal knife. I use it for other tasks of course,but sure is nice to know I always have a clean SHARP knife at hand. And one that doesn't frighten the sheeple
