@Federico Terra Coming along well, I've found the BB Winchesters to take a good even patina, and that's some fantastic jigging on your knife. A great series ,really nice to use or admire.

Will, thanks for your comment, I also like very much the BB Winchesters. My sowbelly "YellowBoy" now has an even patina, after some months of use.
 
"High Carbon Steel" brand Cattle Knife.if I remember correctly I read somewhere that it was a Montgomery Wards brand in the 1930's. I've always wished that the pen would have been a punch.
 
My wife used this once to carve a Jack-o-lantern and put it up in the cabinet full of punkin guts. It sat for two years, and I cleaned it off and oiled it when I found it. Made a very nice, dark patina.
