Lately I’ve been trying to carry a fixed blade more. Needless to say, I’m enjoying it!

Haven't had this one for too awful long, but the patina is coming along nicely. Noticed it standing out when I sat it down on my desk. So, seemed appropriate to take a picture and post it here!

This is more than just patina. I picked up these 3 Barlows today at an antique store. Had to have them. Top to bottom - Colonial, Camco, and a Hammer.

The kids have recently been obsessed with mangos-not a bad thing; they put a patina on faster than any other fruit I’ve used yet (more than apple etc).

This already had patina but I just cut up some canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and that stuff hit the carbon like battery acid. Jet black spots in like 5 minutes time.

Patina protects and it eases the mind. It makes for less maintenance.
