This blade on this one seasoned up really nice. Lots of fruit and veggies have given it the most color.

Sometimes it gets a neat blued look or becomes even darker, but it goes away after a cleaning.

That Blueing So effective on Stag or light colour bone, really moves the knife up a gear! Is it a special process? I have candidates....

Will Power thanks! No special process, used a case blueing kit from local gun store per the instructions. Only advice is to get all the old oil / patina off the blade when you start, I used acetone. Looks great but like any coating came off during use.

Good for you David! Its hard to get a nice blade dirty, but when you do, it makes it easier to use and enjoy. So often I want to keep a nice knife pristine and never really enjoy it!
