Photos Patina thread

Cut a pastrami and cheese sandwich with pickles, mayo and Durkees sauce in half and got this!

Welp ... s'whut i get fur cuttin' a baked froze burrito wit PACE Picante sause 'n sour cream dumped onnit. Whoa thunk itted make a patina? 🤪

Oh well. S'not as "nice" as from peeling a upland game er big game critter (or cutting a properly cooked (seared is "properly cooked" 😇👍) steak) or a messa Crappie 'n Bluegill wit a few Catfish 'n Bullheads tossed inn ... butt ittsa start. 😁👍
Now I just "need" to git a patina started on the Sheepsfoot 'n Spey. 😊

This is a great knife! I love seeing you break it in and get some patina on it 👍🏼.
 
This one is a sheeps foot, but I do love the coping blade.
My favorite Buck model that I have about 10 of is the 305 which happens to have a coping secondary blade.
Yep, I knew I wasn't going to get away with that one 😂. I think with the size of that kick/tang to blade height ratio, that's a coping to me but I've been known to call a spade a shovel before now.

'Tina's on the new 39. Mainly light food prep. Also a little wax cotton patina developing on the old Filson!
