My pleasure. the big knife is not for the dangerous game it is for If in the bush you run into a survival situation with a bush plane or a horse or jeep going down you can build shelters etc. Most places you can not bring a sidearm and at least if you get in a jam with 4 legged or mostly two legged critters a 9 to 10 inch blade is better than a 3 inch caper or scratchin um to death

stunning leather and knives
some serious Big Game too..I love seeing these knives in use

I just got it in the mail and I don't want to beat a dead horse but I am thrilled with the way this came out.Mr. Long did a fantastic job. Here are some close ups and I am curious what you guys think of the stud we browned this one let me know what ya all think. My gunsmith made two of these this one and another that went to Matt Lamey to finish to his discression to match the knife and then to be sent to Paul along with the knife for another sheath. thanks for looking

once again, good looking sheath indeed, great work in fact. Classic Bagwell too...just hard to beat that combo.
Another option for those worried about knife retention in a "stud" type sheath is to run a thong through your thong hole (if you have one) around the stud. This is the way Ive carried for a long time with no issues.

couldn't be nicer!!
Everything came together on this one- the stud, the materials chosen, the design.
I think that this is a classic example of the sum being greater than the parts.
Nice photo's J.P.
