congrats on the anniversary!
I'd be interested in trying out that paperweight. For my uh...really belligerent paperworks. What material is that?Havent payed forward, or taken anything in several threads, but I have some more stuff up for grabs tonight. This stuff will not be shipped out until next tuesday however, because my wife and I are leaving tomorrow to go out of town for our 1 year anniversery which is Sunday.
1. Paperweight that easily moved with two fingers from one side of a desk to the other.
2. Uncle mikes soft IWB holster for something around the size of a Glock 23 (what I carried in it)
3. Uncle mikes soft IWB holster for something around the size of a Browning Hi power or 1911. (both fit well)
I have since went to only carrying in a King Tuck rig or in my versipack but I would like these to go to someone who would actully use them. They are very comfortable.
4. BSA scope that would be great for a beginner on a .22 Claimed by xICEMANX
5. ATTENTION IF YOU OWN A MOSIN NAGANT. If you have ever wanted a scope that wasnt mid eye relief on this rifle, and you have access to a vise, a saw, a drill press, some calipers, and some mecanical knowledge, this is for you. Scope mounting kit for a Nagant. Requires drilling and tapping the reciever for the rail, cutting your current bolt handle off, and attaching a bent handle. Sounds extreme, but it is a great kit. I have installed several. And really, Its a 100.00 dollar gun anyway.

Okay bladeforums community,
I have two more offerings to add. Once again these will be shipped on Tuesday and I will select from the responses before then to find someone who needs them for good reasons. Along with this, the person needs to either be a new person who has not received and/or plans to participate by following the rules. Not on the list stated at the beginning of the thread for being a leech. As well as, someone who intends to strive to be the kind of person this thread encourages. Based on these criteria those who E-mail me through the forum will be given a chance to be selected for a leatherman squirt es4 or leatherman mini-tool (this is the retired version of compact pliers that fold out to full size).
Looking forward to your responses. Also please state which one you are interested in. Both are being paid forward, however it is a one per person with a maximum of two different people receiving.
That reminds me, I actually dig the designs you had in the notebook you sent me. Especially that 6" necker. I'd be down to buy one of those.
Oh my god the Mini-Tool is so friggin' cute! Just lookit how tiny its feet are oh my god I can't handle it!

Oh, I read your entire postRemember to E-MAIL through the FORUM for those who are interested in either tool.
I would very much like two or three pieces if they could be had.Oh, I read your entire post
I'm not claiming it, just commenting on how adorable it is. I'm so engineer it almost hurts.
Plus, I love my Skeletool too much to ever replace it before it breaks beyond repair
On the topic of knife making... I may be able to salvage a few small plates of 1/4" 6061 aluminum (about the size of a smartphone) from the scrap bin at work. Could be used for handles/scales and such. Any interest?
No promises though, since the scrap bin is still technically company property. I may have to do some paperwork to get them for anyone who needs them.

So this was waiting on my doorstep this evening, a gift from an "anonymous" PIF participant. My first opinel:

Back when i drove. I was driving my jeep down the road and seen an older lady with a flat tire at night. I stopped and asked her if she needed some help, Then she asked if I had a jack and jumper cables. I told her, Well ma'am I have a jack but no jumper cables. She CUSSED me out. no joke.yelling because i didnt have jumper cables. She literally said why in the f did you stop if you aint even got jumper cables, i told her well because i couldnt tell the battery was dead, all i seen was the flat tire.
I hopped in my jeep and drove off on her. I did call highway patrol to let them know a lady was broke down on the side of the road with a bad attitude, they sent someone to help her.
But a different time i got the biggest reward ever helping a person, I stopped and picked up a man walking down the street. he was going to see his kid and had no way there so he was hitch hiking a couple hundred miles to see him. I was headed to work but i called out and took him all the way, he tried to pay me with his only 20, At this point i was a relatively new father touched by his story and instead of taking his 20 i took him to the store and helped him get his boy a couple toys. He cried. A grown man dang near 6ft 200lbs. Hell I almost teared up from his dedication to get to his son. Him and his girlfriend had separated and she moved away. With no car he was going to walk over 200 miles. Thats LOVE.
After that i never thought twice about stopping to help someone.
