Pete,
Got your PM, and you're gonna get 2 of these, as CK has already claimed a few earlier. I'll PM you with the details. And, as a special welcome to the PIF thread, I'm gonna send you something special, along with those batts.
Dave
Thank you! Im excited to be a part of this awesome thread, I know I didnt give anything away to you guys today, but just this thread inspired me to give my buddy my sog trident folder! It feels good, :)

Ive got 2 knives to PIF except I will only give one away. I have a Kershaw Freefall and a Kershaw 3140W Classic Wildcat Ridge up for grabs. Both are in very good condition, maybe some bolster scratches on the wildcat from my jeans. I will pick on Sunday to give newcomers a chance too. e-mail me if interested.

Id love that free fall if it's still available

I see several new participants, welcome all!

Thanks! After lurking for almost 2 years, Mostly on the Kershaw/ZT page (R.I.P.), I've gotten so much good info from many on here, it feels good to pay it forward (and I won't lie, there's some enjoyment in seeing stuff pop up too)

Hey man sorry to hear about your gear. I'm sure several people here would be happy to hook you up (myself included). What size are those Columbia 200 gram boots?

Luckily they didn't steel my Appalachian Trail gear that would have been even worse

That's every distance-hiker's worst nightmare. Not only is that stuff expensive, but you'd most likely have it stolen by someone who had no idea what it was, and would be using a $500 sleeping bag for drunken car-camping excursions.

Exactly

Big thanks to Bear - received the old Case trapper with Leather scales yesterday. Took out the chips on the clip and Spey blades (the clip was almost serrated, lol) and oiled it and the walk and talk came right back. This should be fun project. Will need to figure out how to rescale an old knife. Very solid old worker though.
