OK, I'm gonna make some strops up again. These will be heavy paint paddle based, about 1 1/2" wide, loaded with Veritas Green. Like before, these aren't overly pretty, but work well. I'll make (4) of these up, and will go to the first (4) that want one by post/e-mail timestamp, but I do reserve the right to choose based on my judgement. Thanks folk.

I could really use a good strop. It's the one piece missing from my sharpening setup.

Thanks ,

Brian

I could sure use one. That's the one thing I don't have.

I'd love to have a strop.
Maybe I can finally get/keep a better edge.
Thanks for offering!

I'd like to try one. I traded mine out in the first few PIF threads. It was a Flexxx two sided strop. Figure maybe I'll be happier with another kind. If they're all taken I may buy one from you in the future.

I'm gonna send the Freefall out as soon as the post office opens back up. Congrats macgyver71. I need an email with your info.

Good stuff. I was really surprised at how much of a difference a strop made when I first got one.

Cool folks. The following please send your contact info. I'll try to get these together first of the week and out soon after.

I'll go ahead and make up one more, to total (5). Thanks Whet, like I said they aren't much to look at, but do what counts.

Alright, as broke as I am, I may still be able to ship some small things out. Tomorrow I will have a well used, stripped Svord Peasant in L6 carbon, as well as a custom that was gifted to me by Raindog (super generous) for the first 1000th post. While I very much appreciate this blade, I almost exclusively carry my BK16 or ESEE6 for that role. I would like it to go to someone who has a real need for a fixed blade and who has contributed selflessly. So hopefully someone who has given but not taken yet.

The Svord is a friction folder. I would like to give Whetstone first call on it, whether to keep or just handle and then pass on. If he is not interested in either, I'd like it to go to someone who enjoys and prefers slipjoints/friction folders. If you like locks, you're not going to be intk this knife.

I also may have a Gerber Suspension multitool. It was a gift to my step father that he basically never had a use for (go figure!). I will update on this later.

I'll post pics tomorrow, and of course the earliest I could ship anything would be Tuesday, so I will give it at least until Monday to decide. Thanks for reading my book.

Awesome! :D Email on it's way.

Also, Since it looks like we can venture off edged products, I'm gonna post some of my paracord gear that I sell. I have a few that were ordered & paid, and person never arrived, or address was bad (and no reply to email), so the colors & size are already done...but most are in the 8" wrist size. I'll get some pics & post

I would love to check out the Svord, i have been researching these for days now. Thanks RemyKaze! It will check it out and then pay it forward here regardless, a try-it-before-you-buy-it. I'll pay the shipping ( i insist :))

GAH, you're too kind. Have you tried out any Condor?

BTW L6 is just ridiculous when it comes to keen edges and edge holding. Rusts very easily, but takes a patina fast too. David Farmer used to make knives out of L6, with resin coated hemp handles, that you could perform surgery with. Too bad he doesn't make them anymore. :/

I am very close to pulling the trigger on a bushlore, looks like a no nonsense bushcraft knife and i would like to try a scandi grind. Would be my first real bushcrafter, as my barkie's are really hunting knives to me. Any thoughts on that model?
