Ok. This seems to fit with a few of the other offerings this evening. I have an older US Imperial Barlow to PIF. It could use a sharpening and the main clip point blade's tip is a little rounded.
It is nothing special, but it's still a good little knife that I will miss. I'm more of a Sodbuster guy though. I picked it up to carry to the office, but My GEC Redneck Bullnose steals the show now that I've decided that it is a waste to keep it around as a safe queen. Now the conundrum is that the Barlow needs carried.

typical PIF thread rules except for one difference: break the super secret numeric code in the picture and it's yours. Please, just carry and use the poor thing... Oh, and sharpen it. I haven't since I swapped over to rotating the SAK and my Bullnose as my office EDC.

I would like this if it has not been claimed. It looks a lot like a knife my late grandfather gave me and unceremoniously ruined being a stupid preteen like I was. Any way it woild be nice but not necessary. Let me know.....

It probably is much like the one you received. I know they were pretty popular back in the day. I haggled for this one in an antique store when I was picking up a few other items. I can also relate to ruining things as a stupid kid too so I hope this brings a bit of nostalgia back.

Imagine typing it into a calculator and then flipping it upside-down.
Imagine what each character would be and read it backwards, if you want. 5=S, 3=E, 1=I, 8=B, 0=O, 7=L, 4=H

Sorry for being either completely oblivious to any sort of sarcasm or being a kill-joy. :foot:
 
Hahaha, nice N Gremory, i actually didn't get. Yes I am THAT slow, but in my own defense i looked at the knife and not the numbers. :eek:

It works well with an old calculator, but you need to try 0.7734

Just an update.

ALLHSS - Your new(to you) Casio Watch is on its way with a tracking number. Estimated to be there Thursday.
Lobo - Your Fang Skull Lanyard is on its way to you. Estimated to be there tomorrow, I'm thinking more like Thursday, but who knows?
Ranger - Your Mind Skull Lanyard is on its way, estimated to be there Friday. Enjoy!
Jjoanty - Your Wooden Bead Lanyard is on its way to you as of this afternoon, estimated to be there Friday.

- I did not get tracking numbers on the lanyards but did on the watch(mainly because of value and I trust everything will get to where it's going).

- I would appreciate if you guys would let me know when you get your items and let me know how you like them. I'm glad people got some new stuff that they'll hopefully enjoy and get some use out of.

- I sent each of you an email to update you as well. ALLHSS, you have two emails, because I completely forgot to type the tracking number in the first one lol. :o

Did RemyKaze just say something about my mother? And what is this "calculator" you speak of, some nostalgic 80's computer game? ;). Just to keep it knife related a picture of my new Sage (no not an offer)

Is that guy drinking with a deer? And the dog is just like "whaaaat is going on here?". I ask because he doesn't have a gun, just a horn that looks suspiciously like a drinking horn rather than powder.
 
Hahaha, my St. Hubertus medal, the patron saint of hunters. My lucky hunting charm that paid off this past weekend (put a nice fat doe in the freezer). The little circular ring next to it is a band from a banded dove i took 2 years ago. Traditionally there is a crossbow included with saint hubertus, mine is apparently the wuss-ier version.

Thanks again! I just want everyone to know that bladechick777 is a VERY generous and outgoing person. I will definitely let you know when I get the watch, and will post pictures with your permission.

Thanks for letting me know, I just like to know that what I sent got to the person, it kind of puts my mind at ease knowing it's in the right hands.
You can post all of the pictures you want, it's your watch. =] I think pictures are awesome lol. Your pics will probably do it way more justice than any pics I could have taken(if my camera wasn't still hiding in storage).
I'm just glad I was able to get them out not too long after the original planned date and that everyone should have their stuff by the end of the week. =]

Nice nice. Haven't had venison in a while myself. Used to love deer burgers and jerky.

Well the jerky part is easy. The rest not so much. Just gotta make jerky as per normal, with all the spices and goodness lol, then use a dehydrator. Unless you've never made jerky...in which case it might be tough.

Man, that sounds like an awesome PIF idea. *drool*
 
Nice, love this idea! Was thinking of raw venison though, a way to send you some steaks without them spoiling.

I made some in the oven last year. Father in law has a rack he made specifically for making deer jerky in the oven. We made about 20lbs worth for everyone in the holler. Now I'm craving it but WV isn't exactly walking distance for me :p
