First off, I have a stainless steel Kershaw leek that the original owner modified into a wharncliffe-style blade. It is partially serrated and the wharncliffe style gives it tons of cutting power. Plus you don't have to worry about the fine tip of a normal leek! The torsion bar has been removed and the retention is fine. Pocket clip also removed by original owner. This little guy slides right in your pocket and you forget about it. If you want to add the clip and torsion bar, Kershaw will send them your way for free! This was a PIF from many threads back and I can't see myself using it like it deserves it.

More coming soon...

Not claiming the knife, but I would love to see what it looks like!

Just an update.

ALLHSS - Your new(to you) Casio Watch is on its way with a tracking number. Estimated to be there Thursday.
Lobo - Your Fang Skull Lanyard is on its way to you. Estimated to be there tomorrow, I'm thinking more like Thursday, but who knows?
Ranger - Your Mind Skull Lanyard is on its way, estimated to be there Friday. Enjoy!
Jjoanty - Your Wooden Bead Lanyard is on its way to you as of this afternoon, estimated to be there Friday.

- I did not get tracking numbers on the lanyards but did on the watch(mainly because of value and I trust everything will get to where it's going).

- I would appreciate if you guys would let me know when you get your items and let me know how you like them. I'm glad people got some new stuff that they'll hopefully enjoy and get some use out of.

- I sent each of you an email to update you as well. ALLHSS, you have two emails, because I completely forgot to type the tracking number in the first one lol. :o

Thanks for the patience in shipping time, but everything is now on its way!
Enjoy and let's keep this awesome 8-part(so far) thread going!

Can't believe I missed out on a nice Barlow and a Soddie. See what work makes you miss out on? Lol. Awesome things to give guys. Glad people are picking up some awesome things that they'll enjoy and use. =]

Thank you BC. I will post as soon as it gets here!

Egnar: Sorry it took so long to post, but I got the game on Saturday. My son and I love it! :D

Macgyver71: I got the boot knife yesterday. This will make an excellent back-up blade!

Thank you both so much! I still have that pair of flight gloves available.

Glad to hear it! :glee::thumbup: :glee::thumbup:

I would claim it if that's ok, I don't really have much to give to anyone.

raindog101, got the batteries and the killer blade! :D

but... I cant get the batteries to work?? perhaps they are rather old and had not been charged in a while. my charger wont put any juice in them, its not the charger tho.
let me know if you have any ideas anyone.

hey 30ZappHappy30 your wallet is packaged up, soon as I have some time to spare it will be taken to the post office.

also... as far as stuff to pay forward... I have 1 surefire plastic light holster, It should hold any light with a 1" body, and 1 or 2 surefire rubber light grip rings. they slip onto the body of a 1" light to provide an extra grip. I never used either, so I might as well Pay them forward if anyone would need one?
HMU, and when I have more time I will find some more stuff.... Thanks all!

Pete,
Sorry they're not working for you. I should have charged them before I sent them. My apologies for that. They are a bit old, but haven't really seen much use, since I had 5 of them, and only 1 light they would work on. So most of those I sent out had only been through one or 2 cycles. They should be fairly fresh. Sometimes the charger can make the difference, since these are protected cells, and a bit longer than some, I use my 18650 charger with some spacers, and this setup seems to work well for those batteries. If you still can't get them to work, let me know and I'll take care of you. But hopefully the pure awesomeness of that knife will make up for any disappointment you may feel ATM:thumbup::D

I like the looks of that Boker, had to look it up as I hadn't heard of it before. Looks almost like a slightly larger Blur.

Hey man, feel free to beat up on that Mini Bushlore. I only ask that ya sharpen it when you're done with it, but I expect you to put it to work lol.

Will do, and definitely will sharpen it before sending it back. Will even strop it for you

(Won't gut anything with it though, that would be pretty classless)

My lanskey diamond set has seen it's last leg and I just broke the clamp.

If anyone has any kind of sharpening stuff they don't need, I could really use it.

If someone can supply something, I'll pay something else forward

Cheers!

How are you at freehand? I think I have a Norton stone I can send you.

I have wanted to try for a while actually, Just never taken the plunge.

Edit: I do have a strop block I am pretty good with so I'm not completely inept lol

Stones are actually way easier than a strop. I can put a very nice edge on with stones but have issues stropping. With a stone you can push hard to grind it down, or use light strokes to clean up the edge. Freehand just feels better too...very zen.

That's why I've always liked stropping, something about repetitive motion that is soothing lol

Send me your snail mail info and I'll find that stone. It isn't a big one, but I use an Edge Pro so I don't need it.

What kind of stone do you use Remy? The edge on the knife I got from you is amazing.
