Well thanks for the effort nopyo. If they are available in the future I'll pass. I recently ran into some. Also, macgyver I have the tracking for the freefall if you want it. Did you get a chance to see my mini review on the bushlore Whet? Just reposting stuff as things get buried easily on this thread.

Nice, love this idea! Was thinking of raw venison though, a way to send you some steaks without them spoiling.

I've shipped meat several times, the local ice supply house (where the bags of ice at the gas station comes from) sells dry ice, a styrofoam cooler filled with dry ice and taped shut will last atleast 24h so you can ship it overnight.

I've received steaks from one of those mail-order clubs (I won a raffle one time that included a few months of subscription to steak-of-the-month) and they came the same way. Shipping overnight is the expensive part, the foam cooler is cheap and the amount of dry ice needed is only a few $ worth.

Edit: heck its cold out, you could probabily go two-day and be fine.

Be careful, you're starting to act like Worldwood now...

That could be a bad thing!! :D

Im a bad boy, I keep getting in trouble over here.

And to keep from getting another butt chewing for typing ANYTHING. I will say all of you are super generous in your PIFs. Knives are great.. Thank you to everyone who gives and keeps this thread going strong. There has been some great PIFs lately! You guys ROCK.

I keep checking in and watching the action!! Just posting less to avoid a whoopin again.

Bladeforums RULES the knife world??? Hopefully im safe now.

Port, thanks! T tried emailing you (through the email link when clicking on screen name) Can you email it to me via bill793[at]gmail[dot]com?

Hahaha, my St. Hubertus medal, the patron saint of hunters. My lucky hunting charm that paid off this past weekend (put a nice fat doe in the freezer). The little circular ring next to it is a band from a banded dove i took 2 years ago. Traditionally there is a crossbow included with saint hubertus, mine is apparently the wuss-ier version.

Yes, the way to tell is the cross above the deer's head.

Mac, I received the budk today.

Nice little knife, I actually had one exactly the same when I was a kid and have been itching to replace it for years but didn't notice it was the same when claiming.

I think I'll give this one to my girlfriend :)

raindog101, got the batteries and the killer blade! :D

but... I cant get the batteries to work?? perhaps they are rather old and had not been charged in a while. my charger wont put any juice in them, its not the charger tho.
let me know if you have any ideas anyone.

hey 30ZappHappy30 your wallet is packaged up, soon as I have some time to spare it will be taken to the post office.

also... as far as stuff to pay forward... I have 1 surefire plastic light holster, It should hold any light with a 1" body, and 1 or 2 surefire rubber light grip rings. they slip onto the body of a 1" light to provide an extra grip. I never used either, so I might as well Pay them forward if anyone would need one?
HMU, and when I have more time I will find some more stuff.... Thanks all!

Ok. This seems to fit with a few of the other offerings this evening. I have an older US Imperial Barlow to PIF. It could use a sharpening and the main clip point blade's tip is a little rounded.
It is nothing special, but it's still a good little knife that I will miss. I'm more of a Sodbuster guy though. I picked it up to carry to the office, but My GEC Redneck Bullnose steals the show now that I've decided that it is a waste to keep it around as a safe queen. Now the conundrum is that the Barlow needs carried.

typical PIF thread rules except for one difference: break the super secret numeric code in the picture and it's yours. Please, just carry and use the poor thing... Oh, and sharpen it. I haven't since I swapped over to rotating the SAK and my Bullnose as my office EDC.

Cool deal! That was how I initially came across it...bought for wife since she works nights in a NJ hospital & can't carry her pistol. Hopefully it serves her well :)

Pete3, I'm sure I can help you with your issue (I got the other 2 batteries from him and they work fine) but lets not clutter it up here... Email me and I'll be glad to help.

OK - I seem to be the latenight giver, but its because I work the grave yard shift. Tonight I'm offering up a Boker M-Type. Its a damn nice knife that BearMGCHafter sent me as my first modern, and while I respect it and find it pretty dang cool I just dont think I can carry it in NYC. I think i'm truly a traditionalist and Bear helped me figure this out. I want someone who's on the fence about modern's to try it or someone who really wants this guy. Bear scalloped around the lock to make it easier to make it easier to open and close but its in grand shape. Apologies for the stock photo but it gives you the right idea. First I'll take it gets it.

I'll take it!

Got something you guys will want that I'm about to post up!...

First off, I have a stainless steel Kershaw leek that the original owner modified into a wharncliffe-style blade. It is partially serrated and the wharncliffe style gives it tons of cutting power. Plus you don't have to worry about the fine tip of a normal leek! The torsion bar has been removed and the retention is fine. Pocket clip also removed by original owner. This little guy slides right in your pocket and you forget about it. If you want to add the clip and torsion bar, Kershaw will send them your way for free! This was a PIF from many threads back and I can't see myself using it like it deserves it.

No restrictions, claim away!

More coming soon...

I like the looks of that Boker, had to look it up as I hadn't heard of it before. Looks almost like a slightly larger Blur.

Egnar: Sorry it took so long to post, but I got the game on Saturday. My son and I love it! :D

Macgyver71: I got the boot knife yesterday. This will make an excellent back-up blade!

Thank you both so much! I still have that pair of flight gloves available.
