Pay It Forward -- it's been a while

If it's ok, I'd like to claim that electrician.
After its trip to Victorinox it'll be like having an old friend back.
I'll also email or PM depending on what's in your profile.

You are perfectly fine for getting it. The knife desperately needs some tlc. Likely an oil soak, and a lot of tool working.

Anyone need a scope mount?
The smaller one is a Millet 30mm.
The larger one is an ADM Recon knock off. 30mm with 25mm adapters.

This is a fast-moving thread for sure. Now that the Dsun thing is behind us, I was wondering if there was any interest in non-SAK slipjoints? I saw only one over the last five pages and nobody claimed it (the Yello-Jaket). I'll go through my knives to find something worthy of offering up but if there's no real interest then I'll just find some way to do a GAW in Traditionals.

I have been looking to start in traditionals, but I want to start off with a good one that is my style. The yellow jacket just didn't catch my eye..i have never carried a traditional.

Alrighty, in the spirit of the thread I'm going to offer up a knife I picked out from a passaround box that just isn't getting the pocket time it deserves.

It's a Buck Vantage and it's a great EDC. Takes a great edge and flips with a little wrist action plus it's made in the USA.
It's used and sharpened but still in great shape to use and should last for years.

I'll ask that you don't sell or store it - USE it or pass it on to someone that will.
I have a co worker at the machine shop I manage that could definitely use that vantage. He is carrying a coast brand knife with a failing liner that almost chopped his finger off this morning. If it hasn't been called I'd love r to gift it to him.

My knife from OilMan arrived today. Thank you so much! This is a spectacular blade and I definitely see it being put to work.

Are you sure they're 25mm and not 1 inch? I'm no master, but never heard of 25mm, Just 1 inch? An inch is defined as 2.54cm, or 25.4mm so they're damn close

That's what the ad said. 25mm= .984", so yeah. Probably 1".
Though it was on a Chinese wholesale site so, take that for what it's worth.

I'm pretty sure that a blue Case Trapper was claimed, a Sodbuster, and a couple GECs.

I remember the blue Case; it popped up as I was unboxing a jigged blue bone Case #54 trapper to make sure it was in proper working order so I could offer it up here. :o

Unfortunately I don't have many GECs to offer up. I'm lousy with Cases, though.

Id really like that teak peanut as I'm an avid fisherman. I'll offer this wenger Swiss watch if that's ok.

Jerry D, you are very lucky! That ZT0550 is basically my grail knife! Indeed a work of art! OilMan, if you believe in karma then I would say whatever transgressions may have had can be considered atoned for :)
