Pay It Forward -- it's been a while

Hey all, I'll throw in this Tenacious that I picked up a few weeks ago on the forum if anyone is interested. It's been used and well loved but blade is sharp and still has some good life left. I just don't think I'll be using it with the other knives I have. Vertical lockup is solid but there is a bit of side to side blade play. Still a good knife with some definite user life left. BTW, I've really enjoyed this thread!

Might I be able to claim this one? My dad's ended up in the lake not too long ago.

I gave him an old griptilian of mine, but he doesn't like it.

T.L.E. - yep, you got it! Shoot me a PM or email from profile with your shipping address and I'll get it out to you. I can probably get it out tomorrow, latest would be Monday.

Funny how I remember that for work but not for shipping knives. :) Exchanged PM's with TLE and I'll get this shipped out tomorrow.

I claimed a vantage earlier. I am back to offer up a brand spankin new mora in blue/grey, and a pair of pretty good beater glasses with croakies. If you need a mora and some shades lete know.

To everyone who's claimed a knife, I should have them out in the morning unless the post office is closed. I just got back from a trip and am going to package them up in a few[emoji106]

I hope that mora carved a bunch of wood like it was meant to 👍

Can I have the table? Lol.

I've got a small traditional. Northwoods Stockman with Italian Jigged Bone. I can take pics if someone wants them, but I didn't realize how small the small version was when I bought it.

It is a factory blem off knivesshipfree, but I have never used it.

Could I give it a try if nobody else is interested? I would really just like to try a traditional different than what I've had before

I'd also like to add another couple of knives. An orange buck spitfire (correct model I believe?) That has not been used. It has a slight lock rock if you really tug it, which apparently is an issue with this model. The camillus is Aus8, and it is an awesome blade shape. Very much like a folding steak knife!

You guys are awesome, over the last 18 or so years I've been here I've given away many, many knives , won many knives, gifted many, many knives and been on the receiving end of many a generous member who have gifted me knives. I have every knife I was gifted or won in a giveaway (you don't sell a gift, that's just inconsiderate) I know who gave me every knife and will cherish it for the gift in good will it was intended to be. I have a cheap tin shell Colonial Barlow that was a gift and means as much to me as the 2 ZTs I recently received to try out when I asked the question, "What's so great about ZT knives and why I should try one" and was later told to keep them as a birthday gift, (Thanks Anthony, I got 'em both hair poppin ' sharp :) )

The knife community is an enigma, the friendships I've built with many of you over the years are as precious to me as the friends I've grown up with since childhood and I value the friendships I've made here just as much.

Now to the reason I'm posting here, as many of you who know me my wife has been in and out of the hospital having had 5 back surgeries in less than 4 weeks and still has more to go. This site, BFC and the members of the community have been helpin' me get through the difficult time I've been having dealin' with the health issues of my wife and all the stress associated with a loved one whose going' through so much pain that I weep for my wife. She's doin' much better and as a show of appreciation since I've only given away about 6 or 7 knives this year but have received many more from members here I've decided to join in the fun.

I know the feelin' of satisfaction when you gift a knife to someone, especially when they appreciate it just feels great and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, (no offense Adam, ;) ) so in keeping with the spirit of the thread and in celebration on the anticipated recovery of my wife I want to dig up some sleepers I have sitting around and throw them into the mix for PIF thread. It may take me a bit as my wife is still in the hospital but give me about a month or 2 to pull some offerings together for you guys, it'll give me something to do when they operate on my shoulder in 6 weeks, ( I'll be laid up unable to do much with my arm for 10-18 months) I'm subscribed now so I can follow the thread and when I get a few together I'll post them up for grabs.

This is one of the finest communities I'm part of and full of wonderful members from all walks of life, thanks everyone keep up the great work and don't let a few bad apples (or one real rotten one) ruin a good thing.

Sorry for the long post with no pictures but you guys know me, as soon as the Mrs gets home from the hospital I'll dig some up and post them up to put them into the PFI inventory.

Have a great evening and great holiday celebratin' our Nation's Birthday and don't forget to check back occasionally for my offerings when I get the time to pick them out and post pics.
