Pay It Forward -- it's been a while

I'm seriously wondering why no one has claimed DBKs Kershaw Cryo. It's killing me that no one has jumped on it! I can't find one here in Aus and it's highly unlikely that I would due to the design, so someone, for the love of all that is holy, please claim that cool little knife! It's genuinely killing me!

Now before someone says "why don't you claim it?", it would almost definitely get confiscated by customs on its way to me. Australia has a very strict (and stupid) prohibitive rule about folders that can be opened with one hand. Yeah. I know. Stupid. Oddly enough, most crimes and assaults that are committed here with a knife are done with something that is nothing more than a kitchen knife. Something that EVERYONE has.

Anyway, I digress. DBK wants the Cryo to have a new home. I want the Cryo to have a new home. The Cryo wants the Cryo to have a new home.. Ok. I'm starting to get a little emotional. Over and out..
 
Hey DBK, I think we should send that Cryo to that guy Hickory n steel mentioned. His username is AustoLebiesto. I know a few people have tried to direct him here so maybe he's shy. I know it would be nicer than that tan flipper he's using.

If no one claims it, he could always request and drop it in the MBoK (different thread).
 
I had thought about requesting the Cryo because someone had talked about how much they were like ZTs & I have always wanted to try out a ZT but am on a Kershaw budget ! However after looking up the specs I'm afraid I'd be more of a Cryo II guy and the Cryo wouldn't get the love it deserves from me. But I agree with BKNC....for the love of everything sharp & pointy someone claim it !
 
A couple people tried to tell me to come to this thread. I thought since I'm new here I shouldn't be asking for things. I looked up that Cryo and it looks like a real good knife. Is it ok to ask or is there special rules for that? I can take it from that box and put my tan flip knife in to replace it if that's ok with you guys.
 
Sounds like your hearts in the right place. I thought I was at burger King there for a min. What's that quote? Ask Not what the pay it forward thread Can do for you... Or something like that.

Since the knife I claimed is more expensive then the knife I gave away, I'm gonna add another to give away. This is a really nice Franklin Mint Civil War series knife in zippered case. If there are any history or Civil War buffs out there they might enjoy this

But yeah, I think he should definitely claim it. Especially since its been up for grabs for too long.
 
Aw man. I already claimed a knife. The civil war might have been neat since I am a reenactor.

If ya don't get the cryo I have a kerahaw link you can have sharp as hell and flips like a tank let me know ill be mailing knive out right after the holiday so just let me know

My only stipulation is that you use the knife. Do note that it does need a new edge though, I just haven't done it because I wouldn't be able to give the knife the love it deserves.

I'm actually going to give it to my dad. He would love to have it to use. I will just have to post a few more things to cover my take from the thread. I don't think the 2 I have posted is enough. Keep a watch the next few days as I'm gonna list some good stuff
