Had my eye on a Cruware for a while, just never had the money to get one when they were available, or when they were up for trade the person had specific knives they wanted. At this point I would likely give up my ZT 808 for one, and that's like a $40 trade down!

No peanut here. I PayPaled the $7. Maybe it got lost in the mail or something. Oh well. At least the watch I offered made it to gone bad.

Sell yours, pocket the $40 and buy a cruwear manix or millie. I carry mine daily and I Absolutely Love it! It put my large 21 seb in its storage for good (well, aside for occasions).

I dislike the idea of sending money for shipping. It kinda defeats the spirit of the PiF. If I can find one of my spare watches I can send you it if your watch doesn't show up.
 
I don't think it does. Money is really tight for me right now, so I requested the 6.80 for a flat rate box. For a manix 2, that doesn't seem bad to me.

Sosa, I love you enough that I just dug through 3 day old rotting slimy trash to find the receipt with the tracking number. For whatever reason, the package hasn't left Atlanta yet. Give me your email address, I will email you the tracking number and tomorrow when I go to the post office I will try and figure out what boobery has occurred (this isn't the first time the Atlanta post has botched packages for me, more like the 5th or 6th time in as many months.)

Sure. To each his own. I might be the only one who is asking for shipping in this thread, matter of fact. But I've also given away approximately 250 bucks worth of knives in the last week ;)

If yah need the shipping for the watch id pay it no at all not mocking at all I would hate anyone to be out anything sending me something just let me know and if the case don't come to you I'll send ya a knife to match it np. Because the watch rocks

It's all good. I am glad you enjoy the watch and the shipping is on me. I just found it humorous how this turned out.

Anyone who can use a small, cheap, inconspicuous folder: I still have this little guy. Did some measuring and it's a 2.25" blade. I know Gerber knives aren't good quality, but it's sharp and the lock is solid. It might be a little better than no knife at all if someone is desperate enough :o.

(Note: This SAK isn't available, but his less pretty twin brother is. See below.)




Also up for grabs, this very used SAK Wenger Handyman; functional but with cosmetic problems.
Purchased on Ebay a few months ago when I thought I'd lost my Handyman, but then I found it so I don't need this one any more.

 
I can understand asking for shipping cost. Some of us are hard up right now. Myself for one. I am only working two days a week and my wife is disabled and has been off work from the middle of last September. Looks like it will be a full year before she can return to work.

The only "new" knife I have bought within the last year is a used Benchmade 531 on eBay. That was because my mother-in-law gave me fifty bucks for my B-day and my wife gave her support to the idea of me getting a new blade. I joke about my wife not liking my knives but she really is a wonderful gal. Glad I married her.

Enough of my feeling sorry for myself. Time to see if I can find another knife to pass forward.:D
 
I can understand asking to cover shipping in certain situations. I spent over $100 on shipping in the last series of PIF threads. I never asked for compensating, nor did I accept it when offered. To me, that's not what it's about. I did slow down on the giving after my wife commented about all the trips to the post office.
