That is very kind of you, thank you. Money has been tight for quite a while now. Day to day stuff is OK but stuff comes up from time to time that makes it a little harder. Motorcycle fees and insurance are both due now and they are back to back. Only once a year.

Let's just play it by ear see if a member here even wants the knife.

Sorry Hickory n steel, I read like 6 pages and tried to go from memory. I must be getting old :) Edited post to give credit where it's due.

Great energy here everyone. This is a fantastic sentiment that I'm happy to be a part of!

I feel your pain and understand and if it helps i think you're slightly ahead of me in finances currently

Is this exclusively for knives? Or is gear okay? I have a like new Streamlight Microstream......
Received the flashlight, thank you very much. We're still getting our lives back to normal from the flood but I will post an item or two soon to give away.

I'm throwing one back! Monofletch was nice enough to send me his SAK one handed Trekker, but it is way more bulky than I thought it would be. So, i am putting it back up for someone else to enjoy.

My phones not working properly and this was the best pic I could find, so hopefully knifecenter doesn't mind me poaching their pick...

I'd really like the 385, but let's wait and see if anyone else wants it. I was lucky enough to be given a Delica just the other day.

Got these 2 SAK style knives up for gift. Both have all their tools and stuff and one is actually a Victorinox and the other is a German brand. Good first knife for a kid or a good glove or tackle box knife

Well surprisingly that sog flash 2 only took 2 days to get from TN to CA, and the funny thing is that both sog knives that I claimed shipped in the same size boxes and costed the same price ( must be flat rates as the flash 2 is considerably lighter than the seal pup )
Anyway thanks to Keith for the Knife 👍 I just know my cousin is gonna love it.
Just finished oiling and tightening it up and it's definitely better than his cryo.

Anyone know what steel sog uses for the flash 2 ? I'm assuming it's aus6.
Also on sogs website ( it's out of stock, and with an msrp of 75$ ) they list it as being assembled in the USA , does sog actually have a US factory ? ( no coo or steel listed on the knife )

Flash II is AUS-8, I've always liked SOGs AUS 8.

Well he does not meet requirements 1 or 2 does he? I would like this knife to stay with a BF member if possible. Of course, I understand that I have no control over what happens with the thing after I pass it forward.

Let's wait a while and see what happens. If no one else bites on this maybe we can work something out.

My bad, I didn't read your rules, I rescind post.

Thanks 👍
Know anything about the whole assembled in the USA deal ?

Negative, it's actually funny. I have 4 different versions of the SOG Twitch and according to BladeHQ one is made in the USA, one in Tawain, one in Japan, and two in China. For the Flash, they list made in Japan. Different versions are made in different places, I don't believe this is true though, so who knows where they are actually made.
