Pay It Forward -- it's been a while

Right on ty will throw a knife up tomorrow in response to this claim this thread rocks

I received the RAT Model 1 from r redden. What a stand up member! Thank you Randy!

The Large Stockman and the Skyline shipped yesterday.

Sosa, I called USPS and they had no information to give me right now. I submitted a ticket online, but tracking still shows the package is just sitting in Atlanta. I will update you as I am updated.

Atlanta has to be the worse USPS terminal there is. Anything I have ever gotten that went thru there was late. It usually sits there 3 days before they process it. Don't be surprised if it's a delay seriously

Thanks so much, that's gonna make his day. I am definitely gonna send you some action pics. I will also be contributing to the pif thread this evening. Thanks again for your generosity.

Just got the Vantage cleaned, oiled and all packed up and sent out with a couple other little things.
USPS tracking is 9405 8036 9930 0273 9400 03

Post some pics of the happy fella once he has his new knife!

Alright I finally got all of the knives I currently have promised out to their new owners. $20 at the post office down!

I have a new Kershaw, Ken Onion designed folder if someone is in the market for an all stainless frame locking pocket knife.

A few years ago CZ Arms had a deal going where you purchase a gun and they give you a free knife. Kershaw #1650 Vapor II to be exact. Has the CZ logo on the left side of the blade.

If you own a gun made by CZ this is the knife for you.

Requirements for ownership:

1. Must have joined BF before 1 Jan 2016 and have more than 50 post.

2. Never tried a Kershaw frame lock knife before OR you are the proud owner of any CZ firearm.

3. I reserve the right to ship the knife after pay day. Things are a little tight this month.

If interested please include this post in your reply.

I have a friend who loves CZs but can't afford to buy one, I'm sure he would dig this a lot.

Well he does not meet requirements 1 or 2 does he? I would like this knife to stay with a BF member if possible. Of course, I understand that I have no control over what happens with the thing after I pass it forward.

Let's wait a while and see what happens. If no one else bites on this maybe we can work something out.

I'll offer up a never used or carried Mora, I did sharpen it and it's by far one of my sharpest knives I have currently.

If you think it would make a good bar b q knife, I would ask for it and give to my son. We are learning to cook this summer and his own knife might be great.

I have not been on here long, so if that is a problem, I understand.

Sabre Cat if someone claims the knife let me know. I can Paypal you funds to cover shipping

No problem at all, pay it forward is all about trying to get new people into knives and generosity, not post counts or forum experience, I would be happy to send it your way for your son. Send me a PM or email me at danflys AT gmail DOT com.

Email sent. Thanks.

Earlier in the thread I claimed a SOG Snarl with the intent of fixing the edge on it and putting it back up for grabs. Today it arrived and I opened on the porch while still chatting with the postman.

He asked about it. Make, model, etc. and said he'd been wanting something like it to wear on his belt. Something that he didn't have to fiddle with opening and closing.

Given the spirit of the thread I'll be gifting the knife to him rather than putting it back up here. He's a good guy. The postman you always hope you end up with. Just wanted to update everyone in case someone was watching for it to come back up.

I do still have the Tenacious that I claimed for my dad that he then decided he no longer wanted if someone has a need for it.

I'd prefer it goes to someone who's new to the knife world or who hasn't owned a "quality" knife before. Feel free to claim on behalf of someone else. Son, nephew, coworker, etc.

I've put my utility edge on it. Even bevels and hair popping sharp. It's well used, but has a solid lockup at about 60% with no blade play at all. Great knife.
