Pay It Forward -- it's been a while

I just received the seal pup from Bill and he wasn't kidding when he told me the last time he sharpened it was with a crappy pull through.
But I fixed the edge and it's nice and sharp now, it got sharpened and went right on my hip.
 
I should have snapped a pic of the lines that ran the length of the bevel, prior to shipping.

About half way up the primary there was small gouge running the Whole length of the edge. It didn't change height which told me I was at least keeping the knife on plane, but it did show me just how faulty those things can be.

I have since learned to freehand, but I haven't used that knife since, so it sat for a bit unused. I am Very happy that it has found a loving home.

My favorite part about it is the parkerized look the coating gives it.

I bought a big knife lot off the bay and it has a bunch of SAK and Victorinox knives in it. I bought it for the other knives in the lot so the SAK will be giveaways. Should have em Thursday or Friday and will post
 
Thank you to whoever shipped me the lanyard bead that I had requested but if it came from Florida then it didn't make it. Thank you anyways !!





I'm going to guess it didn't make it through the sorting machine & that someone at the USPS probably has a new skull lanyard on their keychain. However it is the thought that counts & I appreciate the attempt that haljordon made to get it to me.
 
DSUN your junk man, Total Junk. Take advantage of a GAW can ruin it for everyone. I hope your junk swells up and you lose it.

I agree. It would be nice if those of us that still have things available would list them all again starting tomorrow morning. That way we don't have to search through six hundred plus post.

I, for one, will put up a new knife tomorrow. Look for it!

I know it's generally in bad taste to make a request, but does anyone have any spare Spyderco Tenacious scales? Something other than the regular black.

I claimed a Tenacious listed here on behalf of my dad who dropped his in the lake and then didn't like the Griptilian I gave him as replacement. Well, now that the knife arrived the silly old man has decided he DOES like the Griptilian and doesn't want the Tenacious.

So now, I'll be putting it back up for grabs, but thought it would be cool if we could doll it up a bit and give someone a really cool knife rather than the standard Tenacious. Not that there's anything wrong with a Tenacious of course.
 
Requesting something to improve a knife you plan to give away isn't the same as requesting something you want for yourself, imo. Wish I could help.
 
Yeah man I wish I had some to give up I like the idea for sure

Add for added note imho asking for something to upgrade a knife to give away is awesome so 2 people get to help 1 I love it

Bummer. They sometimes cut the envelope with a razor to remove the small object. Doesn't seem like this is the case.
 
Here is a little contribution that I hope some one can get some good use out of. Maybe someone who needs a edc light.
Its a great torch. I'll throw in 1 18650 battery and a charger so you'll be all set with this set up.
i just ask whoever wants it if you can cover the shipping ill get it out to ya. pockets are light at the moment ;p
