That stockman is a beautiful knife & reminds me of what my grandfather use to carry

If it doesn't work out and nlewman doesn't care for it then I wouldn't mind trying it out

You poor bastard... Do yourself a favor and ignore the traditional forum and anything made by GEC. They both sneak up on your wallet like a ninja. Or a pick pocket. A ninja pocket! I don't think that works...
 
Or just stick to rough riders for now.
Find a pattern and size you like, a blade combination you like and then spring for a higher end traditional.

I just ordered a few knives to post in this thread. Should have them next week I would think and will list them once they are here. Just to be a tease I won't give models but will give makers. Ontario, Opinal, VSA, Kershaw, Case XX, Boker, Kissing Krane and Spyderco

Working on hand satining the blades and possibly working the bolsters of some Case Stockmans I picked up just for this thread. Should be up in a couple of days! Don't know how I missed this thread haha
 
I'd like to put a couple up today. A black plain edge Spyderco Tasman Salt, and a Spyderco Delica with Emerson Wave. I can email pics, but these look normal aside from some pocket clip wear.

Hey jday I would love to claim that Spyderco Tasman Salt if I could. I was just assigned to the US Coast Guard Cutter Hatchet and have been wanting to try out spydercos salt series. Let me know.
